More and more good folks are finding out about Terri and that judicial tyranny would take her life, but for lots and lots of prayer and non-stop lobbying of relatives, friends, clergy, our leaders, the media, a passerby, a cashier - ANYONE who you feel comfortable chatting with.

Folks always want to know how can this be in America or on earth for that matter? Unfortunately, this is really happening to an innocent woman who just celebrated her 41st birthday. She's not the only one but she's the one with devoted parents and siblings who knows what's in Terri's heart. Terri has a strong will to live. That's apparent. It's been 14 years.

Besides, feeding tubes have been around practically since the Civil War. They are not high tech devices. Terri is "not hooked up to machines". Her feeding tube is the diameter of a piece of spaghetti.

Talkin' about Terri is the best way to lobby for her. It is a salespitch to save her life and subsequently, many lives. If you've never sold anything in your life, START NOW. START WITH TERRI.

AGAIN WE HAVE A NEW RECORD: 15,103 views on the tote board for the Terri Schindler Schiavo January Daily Thread!

The most significant event in Terri's case in January, was the Supreme's Courts refusal to hear Governor Jeb Bush's appeal, after the Florida State Legislature struck down Terri's Law. This once again places Terri's life in extreme jeopardy, though there are other issues regarding her case before the court.

My eyes are crossing too. It has taken me about 45 minutes to go back and read today's postings on this thread before I posted. I worked all day and it was super busy. I got a couple of little posts in but couldn't actually keep up. I was HEART SICK when I read that Greer had handed down that order even tho I EXPECTED as much. I guess my biggest disappointment is in Jeb Bush. He has always been one of my favorite Governors. Through this mess, and especially in the last months, I have lost ALL respect for him. I really believed that he would intervene by use of his Executive Authority. I don't believe for one minute that he thinks starving and dehydrating someone to death is RIGHT. I may send daily emails detailing how corrupt I feel the State is. That it is NOW a State I will NEVER visit again nor would I even recommend it. What a cesspool of corruption, conflicts of interest, dirty Law Enforcement, Dirty Politicians, likely graft and now OPENLY MURDERING an innocent girl and treating her worse than a family pet or a convicted serial killer on death row. My disgust is gutteral!! CO

I worked with a wonderfully kind man that volunteered for Hospice and have heard many good stories about Hospice.

However, there is just too much wrongdoing in Hospice, too.

Why doesn't someone in the FL Hospice testify what's going on, like not letting Terri have a window, or not gettting her teeth brushed, or getting some fresh air, or getting some therapy, et al?

My sister had a friend, in upstate New York, who in her 40's was dying of cancer. My sister and a group of friends prayed with a priest for this woman.

Right after that the woman improved and asked her mother for a tuna sandwich; her appetite even improved. The woman with cancer was happy again.

Then a woman from Hospice came to the home, and asked the woman's mother to leave the room. The mother did, and when she came back her daughter was depressed again, and soon after that died.

Hospice seems to take away all hope.

Heavenly Father, we return to thank You that You have blessed us with the darkness, that we might rest this night. Thank You, Merciful Father, that You stand watch, for Your children are weary. Refresh us spiritually, as well as physically, for we know that the battle for the life of this mother's child will only intensify. Thank You that the cold hand of death cannot yet open Terri's door, though the death merchants have boldly proclaimed a day on which she is to die. Hold them in derision, O God, for it is You who determines the length of our days ... in Your hand is the life of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind. Job 12:10.

Sovereign Lord, we continue to be stunned at the magnitude of evil that surrounds us ... we are stunned at the power afforded one or two or three ... we are stunned at the powerlessness of the most powerful, yet our trust is in You. Thank You that You are working in ways that we do not know and in ways we cannot see ... gather us again to continue to do that which You set before us. Stir Your people to rise up in protest ... to loudly proclaim that this murder will not take place. Work in the hearts and minds of the legislators to fully protect all of the people. May the truth about this wounded woman be fully and fairly presented in the press ... correct their every error ... give us eyes to see and ears to hear and a boldness to hold them to account.

Grant unto the Schindlers the encouragement of their faith ... cover them with Divine Protection and prayer ... let them not become weary but may they boldly continue, even as their beloved daughter continues under the fiercest hardship. Grace the attorneys with passionate truth as they again come before the court ... bring forth that one Judge who will finally rule wisely and well, simply because he has become weary of hearing the unending cries for justice. We desire not to break the law, O God, we desire only justice in the law. We repent of the laws that hinder ... help us, O Lord, to fashion laws that honor. May we be before the Throne of Grace night and day, in sackcloth and ashes, such is our shame.

Rescue this dear child, Merciful Father, that thousands of our vulnerable citizens might be saved. Give us strength to follow through to victory, for we seek to honor and glorify You, the Creator of Life. May those who wish to do harm to this innocent woman be overwhelmed with conviction ... may they repent and claim the Mercy of Christ, such is Your love. In the Name of Jesus, I pray, Amen ...

Here in Southern California the news for the most part says she is brain dead. Calls and E-Mails do not straighten them out! I want to knock heads together!

"The waiting is very hard," said Schindler, who with his wife has waged a seven-year battle against their son-in-law over their daughter's fate. "It's hard to explain what it feels like when someone is trying to kill your daughter."

David Gibbs III, a lawyer for the Schindlers, said he will continue the aggressive fight to extend Schiavo's life. Aside from asking appeals courts for stays beyond March 18, the Schindlers can still argue pending motions before Greer in the three weeks left, he said.

Gibbs' first move will be to talk with the judge's office about securing enough court dates to argue a number of motions before the March 18 deadline. He said his priorities include getting Michael Schiavo removed as his wife's guardian and appealing to higher courts some of the legal issues Greer already rejected.

Gibbs said they should also be allowed more time to conduct additional medical tests.

"It would be Hitler-esque, it would be unbelievable, to starve (someone) to death," Gibbs said.

With the legislative session scheduled to begin March 8, some lawmakers think the new date to pull the feeding tube may give the Legislature room to maneuver.

"I'm very hopeful that something can be done," said Rep. Dennis Baxley, R-Ocala. "We're planning to do whatever we can."

"By no means do we believe this is over," said Gary Cass, executive director of the Center for Reclaiming America, a group based in Fort Lauderdale. "If they do remove the feeding tube, I believe we're going to see an unprecedented outpouring of support for Terri from the prolife community all over America. Prolife organizations will come to Tallahassee to lobby the Legislature and Gov. Bush to make sure they do everything they can."

Uh oh...Greta just used Terri's case as a jumping off point to have on some guy to talk about his wife who was "PVS" and what HE did...Greta claiming this guy knows what Terri's case is all about. I turned her off, for good.

I had to run pick up kids so didn't get to see Greta. Did she really pull that stunt? I swear, she can't do anything right. She should go back to reporting court decisions as she hasn't the talent for interviewing and following through on a story.
