More and more good folks are finding out about Terri and that judicial tyranny would take her life, but for lots and lots of prayer and non-stop lobbying of relatives, friends, clergy, our leaders, the media, a passerby, a cashier - ANYONE who you feel comfortable chatting with.
Folks always want to know how can this be in America or on earth for that matter? Unfortunately, this is really happening to an innocent woman who just celebrated her 41st birthday. She's not the only one but she's the one with devoted parents and siblings who knows what's in Terri's heart. Terri has a strong will to live. That's apparent. It's been 14 years.
Besides, feeding tubes have been around practically since the Civil War. They are not high tech devices. Terri is "not hooked up to machines". Her feeding tube is the diameter of a piece of spaghetti.
Talkin' about Terri is the best way to lobby for her. It is a salespitch to save her life and subsequently, many lives. If you've never sold anything in your life, START NOW. START WITH TERRI.

AGAIN WE HAVE A NEW RECORD: 15,103 views on the tote board for the Terri Schindler Schiavo January Daily Thread!
The most significant event in Terri's case in January, was the Supreme's Courts refusal to hear Governor Jeb Bush's appeal, after the Florida State Legislature struck down Terri's Law. This once again places Terri's life in extreme jeopardy, though there are other issues regarding her case before the court.

Gibbs says Terri notices when he'sin the room. She's not ventilator or heart machine, anything other than being fed.
DCF is going to be investigating.
Mr. Schindler says no one can see how Terri has improved because she's not allowed out of her room. They don't want anyone to see she's responsive.
I say good for Terri especially considering it was Chris Matthews.
I believe CM just said there will be more re Terri coming up.
I was just wondering if her caregivers are tender and kind with her. I also wonder if they are prohibited from talking to her. I know MS chewed out one nurse for putting a cloth in Terri's hand. It breaks my heart to think that anyone could be less than kind to her.
I'm waiting with bated breath for someone to chew Michael out now. It's so satisfying to see a bully taken DOWN and OUT.

Right now on Hardball...Elizabeth Birch (gay rights advocate) says Terri's case doesn't rise to the level of pulling the plug.
Says if it was her daughter she would take care of her. MS should go on with his life, he has children.
Pat Buchanan----she's not on life support she's on a feeding tube. hydration or nutrition is what we do for a baby.
Because the husband wants her to die. The parents want to keep her alive. MS doesn't want his wife, he wants her to die.
He know she's not dead. He wants her to die.
EB-IT should be multiple family members but should be the decision of the person. We don't know what Terri's desires are.
PB --Chris she is not dying, They pulled the tube out for 6 days. She didn't die. He wants her dead and wants to inherit whatever she has.

I watched it...only for seeing Gibbs and Terri's dad. It was so great! Otherwise, I NEVER watch Chrissy the Horrible.

Methinks this is turning into something little Mikey never expected...he should have taken Terri's parents offer to cut and run.
It had to be most positive thing I've seen for Terri in a long time.
I stick with FOX, I never watch MSNBC unless I really need to see a specific item, like tonight. I turned just in time, wonder how many libs are fuming now that a female gay rights advocate has spoken out for Terri.
Actually, there have been a lot of people from different sides of the political spectrum supporting Terri.
It seems like the conservatives have put more time and energy into the fight though.
I was a bit shocked to see them in agreement. They stayed on after the Terri discussion and went on to homosexual marriage. They definitely didn't agree on that one. LOL
