TERRI SCHINDLER SCHIAVO FEBRUARY DAILY THREAD 2005: TERRI IS OUR VALENTINE!
Free Republic and various sources | December 30, 2004, January 31, 2005 | Florida Voter

*Michael, HAVE A HEART !!!!!For Valentines Day give Terri back to her MOM & DAD, The Schindlers!!!!!!!!*

The Terri Schindler Schiavo Daily Threads are created month to month as we watch local and national news regarding Terri and her family.

Since Terri's supporters are in every time zone, you may see something FIRST. Please share news with us that you don't see here already. Now, why would you want to do that? Terri's Daily Thread for September/October of 2004 was viewed over 15,000 times. Terri's November Daily Thread was viewed over 6,000 times. December's thread is over 3,000 views. January 2005 Daily Thread was a RECORD HIGH!!!!!!! 15, 103 VIEWS!!!!!!

More and more good folks are finding out about Terri and that judicial tyranny would take her life, but for lots and lots of prayer and non-stop lobbying of relatives, friends, clergy, our leaders, the media, a passerby, a cashier - ANYONE who you feel comfortable chatting with.

Folks always want to know how can this be in America or on earth for that matter? Unfortunately, this is really happening to an innocent woman who just celebrated her 41st birthday. She's not the only one but she's the one with devoted parents and siblings who knows what's in Terri's heart. Terri has a strong will to live. That's apparent. It's been 14 years.

Besides, feeding tubes have been around practically since the Civil War. They are not high tech devices. Terri is "not hooked up to machines". Her feeding tube is the diameter of a piece of spaghetti.

Talkin' about Terri is the best way to lobby for her. It is a salespitch to save her life and subsequently, many lives. If you've never sold anything in your life, START NOW. START WITH TERRI.

See Terri's flash movies if you need more information. You can see for yourself that's she's interactive and follows the doctor's instructions.

Visit: http://www.terrisfight.org

NOTE: Terri's December Dailies are noted as a source above. There are lots of important links at the very top of that thread. If you missed Terri's Celebration of Life, you can click on it from there.

AGAIN WE HAVE A NEW RECORD: 15,103 views on the tote board for the Terri Schindler Schiavo January Daily Thread!

The most significant event in Terri's case in January, was the Supreme's Courts refusal to hear Governor Jeb Bush's appeal, after the Florida State Legislature struck down Terri's Law. This once again places Terri's life in extreme jeopardy, though there are other issues regarding her case before the court.

When I called Speaker Bense's office, the woman answering the phone, actually wrote down my comments, & asked me to spell.

I told her that they should check Terrisfight.org and check videos of Terri's cognitive abilities, and I told them that a priest witnessed Terri returning a kiss to her dad (which I read by another poster & I think was mentioned on EWTN)

So please call Speaker for the House Allen Bense at 1-850-488-1450 and leave your best message with whomever answers the phone.

Please call the other #'s, too.

On POSSIBLY as early as tomorrow, Tuesday, February 22, 2005, the Courts might have Terri's feeding tube removed for the THIRD time.

For any "newbees" to this thread, here are the numbers to call. Ask them to save Terri Schiavo by NOT allowing her to starve to death.

If you don't have time to call all of the numbers, please at least call one number (or e-mail). Calling is better than sending an e-mail, but please at least do something.

jeb.bush@myflorida.com
Gov. Jeb Bush 850-488-4441

Governor's Legislative Affairs Office: 1-850-488-5000

FL Legislature Senate President Tom Lee: 1-850-487-5229

FL Legislature Speaker fo the House Allen Bense: 1-850-488-1450

Attorney General Charlie Crist:

PHONE 850-414-3300

FAX 850-410-1630
ag@oag.state.fl.us
From a post from Floriduh Voter about A.G. Charlie Crist: FLA AG Crist's staff said to a caller "Crist it the attorney for the STATE, not for individuals." Well, THEN HE BETTER QUIT HELPING THE PARAPLEGIC WHO GOT KICKED OFF A US AIRWAYS FLIGHT. Either you are working for the people or the state and the Fla AG HAS A CIVIL RIGHTS DEPT.
Sun says: It looks like A.G. Charlie Crist is playing politics by choosing which disabled person he wants to help, & which he does not. I guess he thinks that helping a paraplegic is more popular with Florida VOTERS.

ALSO, you can:
PLEASE SIGN PETITION FOR TERRI

Without 11th-hour help Terri Schindler-Schiavo will soon be
starved to death. Husband Michael Schiavo -- thanks to yet
another outrage by an activist judge -- again has a death
sentence from the Florida courts to execute this courageous woman by removing her feeding tube.

Your quick help is needed! Please go to ConservativePetitions.com to see what is at stake not only for Terri but for all Americans.

Here's the address:

I married a non-Catholic in the Church. My sister married a non-Catholic in the Church. The only thing we did was inform the priest.

The Cathechism implies below that a Catholic can marry a non-Catholic with "special permission", not "special dispensation". So I don't see where I'm wrong on my statement that you don't need "special dispensation"

It says a special dispensation is required for a "disparity of cult" and then explains that a disparity of cult is between a Catholic and a non-baptized person, which is not the case in most mixed marriages. If there was a "special dispensation", we never knew about it.

I know that at one time, it was harder to marry a non-Catholic in the Church, as lakey said about her family in the 40s, but it certainly wasn't a big deal when I married.

My other statement was based on my knowledge of my grandparents case. They became Catholics after they were married for a long period of time, and the Church would not recognize their marriage or allow them to marry in the Church because they couldn't prove that my grandfather's first marriage was to a lady that had not been baptized. A Christian marriage, but not a Catholic one. About 30 years later the Church gave them permission to marry after they were able to prove she hadn't been batized and his first marriage was then considered not a marriage in the eyes of the Church. For as long as I can remember they had separate bedrooms and were two very devout Catholics in good standing with the Church.

I have my own personal opinion on this whole case, but I'll leave that out.

Anyway my knowledge is based on my personal experiences. It sounds like the "special dispensation" you refer to below must be hard to get between a Catholic and a non-baptized, person.

So, I stand corrected on the second statement. Evidently, with a "special dispensation" a Catholic can marry a non-batized person. I was interpolating from my grandparents case, since the Church recognized his first marriage and was told that if he could prove his first wife wasn't batized then he could remarry in the faith.
