TERRI SCHINDLER SCHIAVO FEBRUARY DAILY THREAD 2005: TERRI IS OUR VALENTINE!
Free Republic and various sources | December 30, 2004, January 31, 2005 | Florida Voter

*Michael, HAVE A HEART !!!!!For Valentines Day give Terri back to her MOM & DAD, The Schindlers!!!!!!!!*

The Terri Schindler Schiavo Daily Threads are created month to month as we watch local and national news regarding Terri and her family.

Since Terri's supporters are in every time zone, you may see something FIRST. Please share news with us that you don't see here already. Now, why would you want to do that? Terri's Daily Thread for September/October of 2004 was viewed over 15,000 times. Terri's November Daily Thread was viewed over 6,000 times. December's thread is over 3,000 views. January 2005 Daily Thread was a RECORD HIGH!!!!!!! 15, 103 VIEWS!!!!!!

More and more good folks are finding out about Terri and that judicial tyranny would take her life, but for lots and lots of prayer and non-stop lobbying of relatives, friends, clergy, our leaders, the media, a passerby, a cashier - ANYONE who you feel comfortable chatting with.

Folks always want to know how can this be in America or on earth for that matter? Unfortunately, this is really happening to an innocent woman who just celebrated her 41st birthday. She's not the only one but she's the one with devoted parents and siblings who knows what's in Terri's heart. Terri has a strong will to live. That's apparent. It's been 14 years.

Besides, feeding tubes have been around practically since the Civil War. They are not high tech devices. Terri is "not hooked up to machines". Her feeding tube is the diameter of a piece of spaghetti.

Talkin' about Terri is the best way to lobby for her. It is a salespitch to save her life and subsequently, many lives. If you've never sold anything in your life, START NOW. START WITH TERRI.

See Terri's flash movies if you need more information. You can see for yourself that's she's interactive and follows the doctor's instructions.

Visit: http://www.terrisfight.org

NOTE: Terri's December Dailies are noted as a source above. There are lots of important links at the very top of that thread. If you missed Terri's Celebration of Life, you can click on it from there.

AGAIN WE HAVE A NEW RECORD: 15,103 views on the tote board for the Terri Schindler Schiavo January Daily Thread!

The most significant event in Terri's case in January, was the Supreme's Courts refusal to hear Governor Jeb Bush's appeal, after the Florida State Legislature struck down Terri's Law. This once again places Terri's life in extreme jeopardy, though there are other issues regarding her case before the court.

Well, I'm going to send what I've posted to Crist, Jeb and others, anyway.

No reason not to.

Attorney Gibbs and Attorney Weller are reaching out to the media:

"I realize that Terri has good days and bad days. There are obviously days when she does not interact with her family, as they had previously told us. There are also apparently days when Terri is even more interactive and responsive to them than she was on the day I visited. Since this visit I am more convinced than ever that the Schindlers are not just parents who refuse to let go of their daughter. There really is a lot going on with their daughter and potentially, it seemed obvious to me, Terri could improve even more with appropriate care and 24 hour a day love that can only come from a dedicated family. As I watched her, my foremost thought was that on the next day, Christmas, Terri should not have been confined to her small room in a hospice center, nice as that room was, but that she should have been gathered around the Christmas dinner table enjoying the holiday with her family.

MEDIA: Call the Gibbs Law Firm Media Director, Mr. Keith Brickell, at O:727-399-8300 or C:727-458-4824 to arrange an interview with Attorney David Gibbs III or Attorney Barbara Weller. He can be reached by email: kbrickell@gibbsfirm.com."

Tomorrow will be interesting - I'm praying not only for Terri and the Schindlers, but for their new attorney. He looks and sounds like a winner!

Christian Law Association

If you haven't checked out their site, take a look, they've been involved in many cases.

I am sure the new attorney is a "winner," but a winner has no chance at all in the court of George W. Greer. That we know for certain.

Yes, I know that the "marriage" sanctity issue in this case is nonsense, but "that's the way it is" in FL in 2005, to paraphrase the once popular "Uncle Walter" Cronkite.

EWTN . . . I don't think I get that.

Hey, tut, do you know if Terri is being discussed at the pastors meeting?

If you have a shortwave radio, there might be a replay on EWTN shortwave.

Normally, you don't need a special dispensation to marry a non-Catholic, unless there are special circumstances....In order to marry in the Catholic Church, a Catholic must marry someone that is baptized.

These parts of your statement aren't accurate. From the Catechism of the Catholic Church:

1633 In many countries the situation of a mixed marriage (marriage between a Catholic and a baptized non-Catholic) often arises. It requires particular attention on the part of couples and their pastors. A case of marriage with disparity of cult (between a Catholic and a non-baptized person) requires even greater circumspection.

And:

1635 According to the law in force in the Latin Church, a mixed marriage needs for liceity the express permission of ecclesiastical authority.137 In case of disparity of cult an express dispensation from this impediment is required for the validity of the marriage.138 This permission or dispensation presupposes that both parties know and do not exclude the essential ends and properties of marriage; and furthermore that the Catholic party confirms the obligations, which have been made known to the non-Catholic party, of preserving his or her own faith and ensuring the baptism and education of the children in the Catholic Church.139

http://www.scborromeo.org/ccc/p2s2c3a7.htm#1633

A Catholic can marry a baptized non-Catholic in the Church, with express permission, and a Catholic can marry a non-baptized person in the Church, with express dispensation.

Got all of the Senate e-mails sent but can't come up with the House, and Jordan.

The thought occurred to me while searching different pages, including the Christian and Miami ethics, that Judge Greer, Atty Felos, and Crist - and let's don't forget Michael - ethically each should submit themselves to 72 hours of starvation and dehydration - 3 days and 2 nights in a darkened room. No walking around, no watching t.v. or listening to music, and absolutely no talking. What's more, no morphine, pain pills.

Tie and confine each of them to a hard hospital bed. We want them to feel every pang and they should be happy to experience what they condemn others to feel.

Starvation, I'm told, gets easier as time goes by. It's dehydration that is most uncomfortable and painful.

Yes, I'm becoming angry and feeling vengeful. Lord forgive me!

I've suggested elsewhere that the solution to this should be a sort of duel. Starve and dehydrate everyone (including Terri); whoever wins, wins. Personally, I think Terri would take it easily.

A duel is right. LOL! But not Terri until after they feel her pain.
