Giving terrorism the finger!
To: Darkwolf377
I have to go, but want to make a suggestion before I do:
FReepers should start an email effort tonight that encourages every American, every lover of Freedom, to ink their right index finger BLUE tomorrow, as a sign of solidarity with the Iraqi people!

Great thread!!
As I watched the people of Iraq walk through the streets to vote while our military stood guard, I thought how very brave these people are.
I hope and pray that they get their freedom and we get rid of the murdering scumbag terrorists that want only to thwart this process.

Actually it works both ways. Those who didn't vote will also stand out and become suspected of terrorist sympathies.

That's so much more profound than an "I voted" sticker!
And not as easily removed. It will show the terrorists who voted for at least a couple of days. The masses of Iraqis who voted have more cajones than many Americans.

She's old enough to vote? Cool! What's her number? Caption says she's 20. Possibly a student in San Diego, since the it says she's "of" San Diego. Caption also says she took the bus from El Cajon. There is a Betty listed in El Cajon, but no "listed" Betty in San Diego

Might be her Dad...or her brother. Make sure your intentions are more or less honorable. She is a nice looking babe.

It's almost impossible for someone like me, living within the-relatively speaking-safe confines of the United States, to appreciate the bravery displayed by the Iraqi citizens who have decided to cast their ballots in today's elections. Just now on Fox, Shep Smith was saying that at one polling place, a suicide bomber blew himself up at the checkpoint, killing an Iraqi policeman, an Iraqi National Guardsman or two and a couple of other Iraqi officials. This was well away from the school where the polling was going on. People on line at that time, stayed on line to vote, even as the body parts were being cleaned up from the area. That takes stones. I'm in awe.

No question about it.
I heard a similar report about the same incident on WNYC.
When Iyad Allawi stated that he'd keep the polls open, no matter what happened during the course of the day, he wasn't blowing smoke up our a**ses.

I agree with you!
All these images are tear-jerkers! I love seeing the Iraqi soldiers and police smiling and dancing, and knowing it's for a wonderful reason, not in celebration of a terrorist act.

fear that people that voted could be identified as long as several days later by the ink on their finger and marked for retaliation. The opposite it true too...Those who do not have ink on their finger can be sorted out as a "target" aka terrorist!
