he marked two ballots and then dropped them into boxes. What's up with that?

Fox News explained it, but I really was not paying enough attention to explain it.

So far these Iraqi poll workers look like people manning the hotel registration table in a conference where no one shows up. Let's hope there's a Iraqi big Sunday breakfast tradition that I don't know about.

Well, as others had said, I wouldn't choose the polling place that has all the media set up because that would seem to be a prime target. And secondly, it seems logical that the terrorists would make early attacks in order to intimidate people from even thinking of voting. I probably wouldn't rush out to be among the first to vote at 7am. I'd wait a few hours and see how things went.

I think there are basically two elections going on today. One for the national parliamentary thingy (technical term) and separate municipal elections in each city.

One ballot for national, one for Local and the Kurds have a third ballot for some kind of special assembly for them.

The Corrupt Old Media never caught the part about the simultaneous local elections...i.e. the brilliant part...can't have greedy local politicians telling people not to vote that way!

Allegra says the Iraqis are not early risers so things will be slow initially!

Which side is Michael Moore on in the Iraq election? He said the insurgents are the equivalent of our Founding Fathers.

But he hates our Founding Fathers because they were a bunch of "stupid white men" with guns who owned slaves and mistreated indians.

I understand that he would hate our troops because they are the equivalent of the Hessian mercenaries hired by the British in the Revolutionary War.

But aren't the oppressed people of Iraq the moral equivalent of the slaves and indians?

I have one for Ted hic Kennedy! Bet he is sitting at home, in the dark (secretly watching FNC), drinks in hands, and rocking back and forth!

Actually, that sounds kind of fun.

I patterned it after my own actions but in my case I'm rejoicing for the Iraqis and unca teddy is hoping for doom and gloom.
