I have to go for the evening, but want to make a suggestion before I do:
FReepers should start an email effort tonight that encourages every American, every lover of Freedom, to ink their right index finger BLUE tomorrow, as a sign of solidarity with the Iraqi people!

As women I think it's especially hard for us to envision being that brave.

Many thanks. Awesome stuff. Any idea what he was going to say at the end about "service members complaining..." I assume that it's about slanted media coverage but not sure what the specifics were this time.

I'm in the same boat....I just said earlier tonight...I don't even know who's running or if they have a "platform." Then I laughed thinking, when have I ever concerned myself with another country's elections, or who all was running, or what their platforms were! I just think we want so much for the best for these people, so that all our military has done, the lives lost, isn't in vain. Needs repeating. I am very excited about this historic event. My prayers are with the Iraqi people and our troops.

Touching isn't it,,in the middle of a war zone, getting ready to vote, they were all talking to their girlfriends wondering what to wear. I love it.

Congrats on getting Fox news.... Canuckistan will never be the same :-)
Again, G-d bless Iraq and their people. May this weekend be one step on their road to peace and success. A hard road, to be sure, but one they can travel if they have the will. I sense they do, FWIW.

I don't usually go there because I feel all dirty inside when I read their vile words coming from their dark, dark hearts.
I'll take your word for it though........they have to be saddened that the Iraqi people are now free when they, themselves still live in their own self-imposed slavery to leftist ideology and hate.

We should have found a way to show our solidarity with the Iraqi people soon and spread the word far and wide. Good idea.

Weeping with joy....I do believe we have some in this country whose feelings are so shallow they're incapable of those feelings So many in our own country lack a knowledge and sense of history. Without it, they can't possibly understand and appreciate that -- as in Afghanistan and the Ukraine --- the election in Iraq is shifting the world's geopolitical axis.
 And, freedom is winning!

Good for you, congrats on getting FoxNews!

Anyone having problems with Fox on satellite ? Ive got direct tv and the feed on fox is lousy its blacked out with just a few blurbs of talk
Is someone screwing with the feed from fox ? because the other stations on my feed work fine !

announcer almost seemed depressed that there wasn't more negative news to report on. Here we Freepers are, crying because we're happy - and there's the press, crying bitter tears of rage because there's been no disaster.
