It is now 3 am in Iraq the polls will be opening in the next few hours as the world watches and hold's it breath. Iraq is about to undertake a historic vote.
Lets wish them well....... please post all comments and election photos to this thread.
Got here late. My computer locked up at about the time of your post and I had to run every utility I have to make sure it's OK. At least the rain is slowing down here.
Better yet, than just watching on tv, I hope they handed Saddam a voting card and make him vote. LOL
He has a right to be pissed. Everything "Liberalism" or "Socialism" is going quickly to hell in a handbasket. It's all Bush's fault.
But nothing beats CNN shooting up the checkpoint while leaving Tikrit.
I don't usually have to take credit for things, but this one I'm kinda proud of, so I must...
I actually coined the phrase "Pretty Chicken."
For a long time we had been calling him either "Pretty Richard" or "Pretty Engle" because of his primping. And then when we saw him ducking and hiding every time a shoe dropped, we started calling something like "Chicken Richard"... so I combined them for the double entendre = "Pretty Chicken."
Pretty = beautiful/vain, and Pretty = very... Chicken.
(Geez, how vain am I that I have to take credit for that!!?? LOL)
But don't you know Fox is just like all the other media whores?
/sarc
Shep just saying that according to sources (I forget the term he used...high up or in the know or something like that) said not a single US soldier has been killed OR injured so far today (11 am Baghdad time).
It is early but all channels are saying turnout is low. How do they know and why are they saying it know? Who is to say what turnout should be? They make up a number and then beat us over the head with it.
Shep Smith on fox states not one American has died or been injured in Iraq during the election.
Good news and pray it keeps up.
I just fired off an e-mail to Fox News complaining about susan estrich's whining on with Geraldo earlier about ted kennedy and how unsafe it is over there. My B/P went way up when I heard her spew her venom.
Denny Crane: "I want two things. First God and then Fox News."
No, I don't believe it will be affective either, thank God.
