It is now 3 am in Iraq the polls will be opening in the next few hours as the world watches and hold's it breath. Iraq is about to undertake a historic vote.

Lets wish them well....... please post all comments and election photos to this thread.

The DU Dummies are freaked out about having to wait an hour to vote in Ohio. Well in Iraq, its an exercise that could literally cost voters their lives. But they're turning out and waiting in list to make their choice. We take freedom for granted here in America and don't stop to realize its been pretty much the exception rather than rule among mankind. That's what makes today's vote in Iraq so special.

omg I was listening to CNN and you would think Iraq is doomed. turned it to Fox and there it is... truly portraying it for what it is.. an important day in the history of mankind. MSM is fighting tooth and nail... democracy in Iraq is poison in the waterwell of the elitist leftists of the world.

the MSM and John Kerry on Meet the Press will emphasize the ones (God Bless them) that were hurt or killed---

I have never, ever heard a dem that has looked at a glass as half-full, it is always half-empty. I take that back, I think I have heard Joe Lieberman and Zell Miller have a half-full moment or two--

And, Bush is always a half-full guy---he is enthusiastic FOR the Iraqi people, not his legacy (which is what even some Rep. writers would have you believe)--I think NOW that the dems still haven't backed off their bashing him even after the election, NOW he would relish the legacy so he could through it in their faces for years to come!

You also have to realize that a good number of Iraqis have joined the police and the army and they have died building their country. Our media doesn't focus on it because to do so would make the Americans feel better about our sacrifices.. and that's the last thing they want to do.

The No-stop light that everyone ran, Dr. Bob Arnet, David Bloom, Michael Kelly, Baghdad Bob, Ceegar Man, the traffic circle, Pretty Chicken, the prayer call that sounded like screeching cats, car alarms every time a bomb went off, Greg Kelly surprising us by popping up in the middle of Baghdad...SO many memories.

I'm still catching up on this thread (just like the old days!), but you guys are killing me with all these memories of the BagCam days!!!!!!!!! I miss those days!!

But wow... what a historic day this is!!! God Bless our Troops and God Bless the Iraqi people who have shown such bravery!!
