It is now 3 am in Iraq the polls will be opening in the next few hours as the world watches and hold's it breath. Iraq is about to undertake a historic vote.
Lets wish them well....... please post all comments and election photos to this thread.
If sadam is being made to watch the voters is Mapes going to show pictures of it and yell "torture"? Will Gonzales have to answer to this despicable act?
Our Dems would consider allowing Saddam to watch this election to be torture.
I hope he is watching it.
I can't get enough of this! What a great day. God bless our troops who have made this happen with their sacrifice and please keep them safe. And bless the people of Iraq who are embracing democracy instead of opression and violence. Let them appreciate and live up to this wondrous gift brought to them by our visionary President.
ROFL
Mayor of Baghdad is almost orgasmic on CNN....
CNN is trying so hard to find bad news. Their anchors keep prefacing each story with dramatic pause and then the news is great. The Mayor of Baghdad is now calling this a great day for a free country, free speech and no more violence.
ok...enough excitement on CNN...back to violence...what a$$holes
U.S. Army and Iraqi police experts analyze security information from Iraqi police and U.S. Army joint co-ordination centre in the first hour of general elections in Baquba on January 30, 2005. A suicide bomber blew himself up in a queue of voters outside a west Baghdad polling station on Sunday, causing several casualties, and a blast at another polling centre in Sadr City killed at least four people, officials said. Police said mortar attacks on several polling stations around Baghdad had killed and wounded several people but did not have precise casualty figures. REUTERS/Nikola Solic

With all of the doomsayers ( MSM ) doing their best to carry water for the terrorists, I ask these yellow journalists the following question...
How many Americans were murdered on election day, Nov. 02, 2004, in the USA ? Where did the murders take place ?
Conversely, I hope that Iraqis are wanting to vote because they know he's alive and can see what Democracy will do to un-do his reign.
That was a great post!
"Our Dems would consider allowing Saddam to watch this election to be torture."
Yeah, and I know one for sure, Ramsey Clarke.
I hope they have Saddam's eyes taped open and stuck right in front of a 42' plasma screen.
I have been out and missed the whole thing ...I cant read this whole thread right now ...is this the story of the day? all is well?
Are the terrorist running CNN? or TNN terrorist news network.
And later Baghdad Bob tried to turn himself into the US Military but the patrol he waved down didn't know who he was... he tried to explain who he was and that he was "important" yadda yadda.... our guys radioed in and told him "we don't want you" and let him go.
So again later he tried to turn himself in, they took him, interrogated him, and then let him go. Guess he wasn't as important as he thought he was. LOL
(I know I only have 1/3 of that right, but it makes for a good story.)
Thanks for the info.. Sad to think someone went off to vote and won't be going home. But I don't believe it will be affective, the Iraqi's are showing great courage.
I am going to take a nap ping me if anything major happens.
