CHICAGOLAND PING
Oh Please.... spare me the tripe. I think all normal thinking adults should just say NO to listening to these people.
Idiot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don`t think there was one paragraph that contained a true statement, even by accident.
This was a far as I got. Mega barfer is right..
I'd say more like wallowing than shivering, based on what I see from the posters at DU and on the floor of the House and Senate.
This "journalist" is pathetic. But so are his editors, and any readers who are fool enough to take him seriously.

Ok let's see - we are fighting an "unwinnable Vietnam like war" with a "supposedly superior military"
I can tell by this supposedly thought out article that the DNC talking points are getting out - way to go Teddy!!
I suggest the author have his cup of hot cocoa, put on his Spongebob feety-jamies, and hide under the covers until further notice.
-Mr. Hanania What you've just said....is one of the most insanely idiotic things I've ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response was there anything that could even be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
This guy's rant should be titled: "What goes through the minds of ostriches with heads in the sand, Opossums playing dead and/or liberals with heads up their @$$."
I, for one, shiver with the knowledge that I share FReep with one who is possessed with such thoughtless drival
Think one good B***H slap is in order .....
Dear Sir,
Below is the Net address of a discussion of your article. The most trenchant comment is the one who said that "every paragraph contains a factual error." If you have the guts, you might want to participate.

I'll just add that both you and the editor who chose to publish your article are as ignorant as a hoe handle on the blood costs paid in America's war. As I have written, nationally, the monthly death toll in this war is LESS than every major war (all eleven of them) that the US has ever fought. It is less, even, than the monthly toll in the American Revolution, when the population was 1% of what it is today.
That does not lessen one bit the value of each life lost. But it does demonstrate that you are a fool when it comes to history.
Have a nice day.

those who voted for Gore in 2000 (and Kerry in 2004) never let the facts get in the way of their opinion. Rather than dealing in facts and evidence, they'll concern themselves ONLY with hyperbole and innuendo. Anything to stop the majority from being heard, and to promote a minority point of view. The MSM and folks like this guy, will take the comment I just made and turn it into bigotry. By saying the minority opinion doesn't count, I'm now a racist, homophobic, sexist pig. Even though I don't agree White is right and black is bad, he'll make sure he advances that idea to discredit me or anyone else that disagrees with him. Why do these people continue to demonize anything good that comes from this administration? Why is it that I feel like I'm outnumbered against people like this man? The answer to the first question is multifaceted and still doesn't explain. The answer to the second question is... we aren't loud enough. The squeaky wheel gets the grease! So let's continue to raise our voices louder than those who wish to destroy our will. Let's keep our heads and deal with their laughable, fictional based opinions! The minority opinion is worth listening to, but in a democracy we all have a vote and doesn't that mean... what... what did you say.... OH YEAH, majority rules on election day. (sorry for preaching to the choir.. had to get it out.)
Truly lugubrious.
turn off CNN, Mr.Hanania.
You cannot make a sectarian country divided by religion and ethnicity (Sunnis, Shi'ites, Kurds, Assyrians, Arabs, Iranians, Chaldeans) a democracy when the people insist on voting on the basis of religion and ethnicity rather than on issues.
Wow! And he could tell all this before the election even took place! This is like the rest of his article....who needs pesky facts?
