I recall a cute comic strip depicting Moses coming down from Mt. Sinai with the Ten Commandments written in stone. "I've got good news and bad news," he announces to the Israelites waiting anxiously at the bottom of the mountain. "The good news is that I got Him down to ten." The crowd cheers. "The bad news is that adultery is still in."

Kind of funny that some who admittedly didn't know of FR until 3 months ago has the chutzpah to refer to a new members as a troll. It's happening more and more these days.

There are a lot of articles posted from JewishWorldReview.com here at FR.
That is not any indication of a Troll.

here at FR. That is not any indication of a Troll. At best, it's rude to post articles and not reply, and also a sign of
Trolling.
He posts articles and doesn't reply. He hasn't replied yet, anyway.
Anybody in there, Manny? Hello? Hello? .....
Fiddle, whatcha wanna bet I get no reply? :^)

Six threads in two day from the same source? I have been here several months and haven't posted any. HMMMM. Some people are thread posters, some just like to reply. Mnay people have been here for years and never post an article. Back in 1999, I used to post 10 news stories a day.
To: TheOtherOne
Ok buddy. Please tell us all how long we must sit and reply. Huh? I'm talking about the newbie that posts articles and ignores comments to them.
He hasn't replied to any comment yet.
Or maybe I misunderstand what you're saying?

I understand that, but just because someone posts an article, why do they need to reply to all the people interested in the story? He didn't write it, and why do put some obligation to stick around and monitor the thread? A lot of people post something during a break, and then come back after work to continue Freeping - I just take issue with your calling it rude to post an article, and not continue to post comments on a thread.

A burglar broke into a home and was looking around. He heard a soft voice say, "Jesus is watching you". Thinking it was just his imagination, he continued his search. Again the voice said "Jesus is watching you". He turned his flashlight around and saw a parrot in a cage. He asked the parrot if he was the one talking and the parrot said, "yes." He asked the parrot what his name was and the parrot said, "Moses." The burglar asked, "what kind of people would name a parrot Moses?" The parrot said, "the same kind of people who would name their pit bull Jesus".

I will apologize for the quick reaction, it does have the "hit and run" look to it.

I just take issue with your calling it rude to post an article, and not continue to post comments on a thread. This wouldn't be much of a Conservative News discussion group if EVERYONE posted and NOBODY commented.
And there have been a LOT of Trolls that show this pattern of "Post and run."
At least that has been my observation and experience with these folks. Not ALL but many do this.
And my original post to the newbie was an "invitation" to get him to take the hint to reply and let us know he's not a Troll.
And, the last I looked, I have still seen no reply from him.
Here is his posting history, just fyi.

posting an article opens a dialogue for discussion. If you are not willing to hang around for the dialogue you have opened, don't bother posting the article. It's as simple as that. Given the number of drive bye Trollings lately I don't think this is to much to ask. You should be willing to hang around long enough for fellow FReepes to respond to your post. Why all the indignation?
