Too bad the country's education secretary doesn't realize that, too.

Register stuff can't be posted,. but the link will take you to the editorial.

It is ridiculous to continue to compare sexuality to race. The Register makes the leap. Public dollars should not be used to push a gay agenda on kids. Period. IMO Kids should not be exposed to ANY sexually based education until they are old enough able to understand it.

I sent an email to Sec. Spellings thanking her for doing the right thing. Two of the homosexual women were on Good Morning America this morning complaining their children were bullied at school. I think that will be the least of their children's problems.

Great. Another email to my daughter-in-law about more TV my grandson can't watch. Parents have it hard these days.

Good kids' programming includes diversity. It doesn't have to focus on it or promote it. It should show children the world we all live in. "Sesame Street" was ahead of its time including Latino and African-American characters. The world is full of all kinds of people. People who live on farms and in trailer parks. People who speak different languages. People with lots of money, and people with none. And people who are gay. Buster meets them. His creators know that learning about differences is part of getting an education. Too bad the country's education secretary doesn't realize that, too.

And in a few years Buster will travel into the wrong side of town and get fondled, molested, sodomized and PBS will cheer the "education" he gets learning about differences.

Kids should not be exposed to ANY sexually based education until they are old enough able to understand it.

There was no sexually based education here... just a kid introducing her mom, and her mom's "friend." There is no discussion of lesbianism, and no judgements are made on the show either promoting or condoning the two women.

Homophobes need to settle down, and stop worrying about the fact that *gasp!* there are homosexuals in the world, and children may discover this!

Good kids' programming includes diversity.

Obviously the editors will support episodes where Buster meets diverse folks who like to eat poop, or beat each other up for fun, or who live with dead people.

Diversity in perversion is such a wonderful thing.

Disgusting.

I heard about this this morning and looked it up on FR. Sure enough, it's been posted. Why do our tax dollars go to support this crap? Why does PBS and their children's programming department feel compelled to introduce children to homosexuality? This is absolutely wrong. It's sad that they have taken an otherwise decent cartoon (I know because I watch it sometimes) and used it as a recruitment tool.

When will Buster the Rabbit go visit a Baptist church service and "encounter" the gospel of Jesus Christ? There are a lot more people who believe in Jesus Christ than there are sodomites, so wouldn't it make sense, for the sake of diversity?
