Register stuff can't be posted,. but the link will take you to the editorial.
It is ridiculous to continue to compare sexuality to race. The Register makes the leap. Public dollars should not be used to push a gay agenda on kids. Period. IMO Kids should not be exposed to ANY sexually based education until they are old enough able to understand it.
Welcome to FR
I sent an email to Sec. Spellings thanking her for doing the right thing. Two of the homosexual women were on Good Morning America this morning complaining their children were bullied at school. I think that will be the least of their children's problems.
Great. Another email to my daughter-in-law about more TV my grandson can't watch. Parents have it hard these days.
And in a few years Buster will travel into the wrong side of town and get fondled, molested, sodomized and PBS will cheer the "education" he gets learning about differences.
I didn't read the article because I've heard Buster and have never had the impression he's gay. Am I the only one?
Read the editorial, what a load!
There was no sexually based education here... just a kid introducing her mom, and her mom's "friend." There is no discussion of lesbianism, and no judgements are made on the show either promoting or condoning the two women.
Homophobes need to settle down, and stop worrying about the fact that *gasp!* there are homosexuals in the world, and children may discover this!
Did you see the show?
I haven't.
The woman's name is Konfrst? That's 5 consecutive consonants!
There is no phobia here. By automatically using name calling to describe what is probably only a concerned parent, you mark yourself. The purpose of this program is to propose to children that homosexuality (by way of havint 2 moms) is normal. It isn't, and children shouldn't be told by PBS that it is. If you don't think the homosexual movement is behind programs like this, you are more than blind.
If that's the case, then why do they need a lesbian character at all?
Yes we do. And the commercials don't help either. Last night we were flipping through channels and there was a dentyne ice commercial on. In it a teen girl is introducing her boyfriend to her parents when she puts a piece of gum in her mouth. Upon chewing the gum she turns to her boyfriend and starts making out, takes off her top and then you hear heavy breathing. The "parents" just sit there and watch. Then the mom tries a piece and then attacks dad. Now what age group do you think dentyne was targeting. Adolescents and teens. I was so angry I emailed them to let them know I will never buy their product again.
Homosexuality is abnormal. Parents have a right to censor what their children watch.
Some parents only allow their children to watch children's shows. And when homosexuality is being promoted on Public broadcasting aimed at children, well parents have a right to speak out.
I don't think it is an unfounded allegation. There are people with an agenda and they do want to push it on other people's children.
You might want to cool it with the labels. Parents are perfectly justified in not exposing their children to situations they are too young to fully understand.
Homophobes need to settle down, and stop worrying about the fact that *gasp!* there are homosexuals in the world, and children may discover this!
First, I am no homophobe, I have gay friends. However, until about age 12 or so boys would rather play with boys and girls with girls. Reason being, they know nothing of sexual attraction to the other sex at these ages. NO there is no discussion of lesbianism, kids wouldn't even be able to pronounce the word. My point is, let's introduce our children to the world of homosexuality, or heterosexuality when they are old enough to understand what it really is and make an educated decision on how they feel or don't feel about it.
I've been told by friends that they didn't "become" gay, they were "born" gay. Hey, that's fine, when a child gets old enough to decide what he/she is let them make their choice and live with it. Whether you think its good or bad.
If we are going to introduce children to mom and her "friend" why not let them see the other side of the homosexual world by tuning them in to an episode of "Oz" where they can be introduced to the fact that *gasp* there is forced sodomy. Let them be introduced to their dad and his "friend and cellmate" Tyrone.
I wonder when they will introduce Pedophile Pete as a character? "Hey kids, come over and sit on my lap!"
There are all kinds of people in this diverse world. Do we have to expose our childeren to ALL of them?
My suggestion to the homosexuals is to stop trying to shove your peverted lifestyle down our kid's throats and we will stop publically persecuting you. You want to flaunt your lifestyle, fine, I will flaunt my disgust and contempt for it. You're sick, you're perverted and you have zero place in the community!
Obviously the editors will support episodes where Buster meets diverse folks who like to eat poop, or beat each other up for fun, or who live with dead people.
Diversity in perversion is such a wonderful thing.
Disgusting.
