I know what you mean we had a similar incident a few months ago in the UK and I am still not convinced it was suicide, I think it is the post 9/11 mentality we live in but IMHO that is more healthy than living in a 9/10 mind set.

She was certainly the one who reached for him that night!
I look at them as an example of how to conduct myself when I get married.
Just like in 2001, this time out they showed affection for each other and showed us the compassion they have for our soldier who make it possible for us to have free elections.

I felt she was suffering from a case of "sour grapes" she says she resigned but IMHO I wonder if it was a case of jumping before one was pushed.

You had to be there, snugs. It would lose something in the telling. But it was good I had comic relief, I would be totally bummed out right now if not.
Sometimes I wonder how in the world our President and VP and others at that level live with the intensity and emotion they must deal with in their lives. You know they must live with this pendulum of intense emotions and good news/bad news every day.
W in particular is a very emotional person, but God must grant him an extraordinary ability to cope with it.

What was interesting (at least in her radio interview, which I listened to while sitting on the freeway for TWO and a HALF HOURS waiting for a double semi accident to be cleared up about 10 minutes from home!) was that she denied being critical of the President while being critical of the President.
She sounded very confused to me.

You are one lucky young lady.....Your pictures are wonderful...You know the president spoke to you because you were thinking of others.....DO believe he admires that trait in people...as do your fellow freepers.....
You are one special young lady....Even he could tell that!

How wonderfully put Phancy and what an example the President and Vice President are of how married men should conduct themselves.

You're right. Leading by example, as always, in every aspect of their lives.
(btw, I knew we had more than one soldier. :o)

You should have seen the expression in his eyes.
He was so touched by the soldiers, I can tell that's all he was thinking about. Which was the reason I went in the first place. I wanted to show him a pic of my soldier and let him know how much we care for him and support him!!

Did you find her comments confusing too, snugs?
Wanting the Republican Party to include her, but admitting that the Republican Party and specifically this administration DID include her?
Very mixed up lady, IMO.....

You wanna hear Goober's impersonation of William Holden?
Goober: "Well I can't do William Holden--he talks like everybody else."
