DC Anti-War Network & "Freepers"
News Hounds ^ | January 19, 2005 | Melanie, News Hound

Mo Alem of the DC Anti-War Network was a guest today (January 19, 2005) on Your World w/Neil Cavuto. Alem was on Your World to talk about why his group is protesting Bush's inauguration. Alem said the DC Anti-War Network is against the Iraq war and unhappy with the erosion of our civil liberties. His group will rally and march tomorrow to "protest and have our voices heard." He said the DC Anti-War Network is non-partisan and would rally and protest a John Kerry inauguration if Kerry had won the election and wanted to remain in Iraq.

Cavuto's next guest was Kristinn Taylor of the DC chapter of Free Republic. Taylor said the anti-war protesters are "misguided" and their protest is in "bad taste." He said the inauguration represents the peaceful transfer of power and if Kerry had won the election his group would stay home and let Kerry's "supporters have their day."

I lay this foundation so I can get to the point of this post. The web address for DC Anti-War Network was never shown at the bottom of the screen during Mo Alem's interview, however the web address for Free Republic was shown twice during Kristinn Taylor's interview. The second time it remained on-screen for approximately 20 seconds.

News Hound Comment( not mine ): This is an example of politically motivated media; of media-with-an-agenda. It's quiet. It doesn't yell and scream. It doesn't draw attention to itself, but it's here.

Truth bashing is nothing new to News Hounds.us

News Hounds is run by "eight middle-aged citizens who believe a viable democracy depends upon viable media" who are by the way appalled at Fox’s "self-proclaimed mission of fair and balanced reporting".

Teaming up with losers like MoveOn.org, volunteering services for OUTFOXED, a ( failed ) documentary ( MM style) has taken its toll. News Hounds asks of its internet visitors a pay pal donation for therapy. "Please help the NewsHounds pay for therapy!" LOL!

More whining : http://www.newshounds.us/2005/01/20/is_fox_spreading_rumors_about_antiwar_protesters.php#more

Shhhh. It's our secret deal with Fox. And the government pays them to put our web address up there. I know because they send the money to me. Buwahahahaha.

Intensive therapy may or may not correct this delusional condition acquired after such a humiliating defeat.

"Melanie, News Hound", good name and she probably barks!

The thing the left never gets, even since the Vietnam area protests, is that their demonstrations are such freak shows they do more to damge their cause than help. They always could get larger crowds than conservatives and it does not do them any good. To the average observer they look like a bunch of hooligans acting out a teenage rebellion.

To most of these protestors their events are just a cheap date or vacation and a chance to delude themselves that they are acomplishing something.

More like a whiny puppy, but even a puppy stops whining after a few weeks.
