Per Fox News, President Bush to hold Press Conference at 10 A.M.
Excellent point.
He didn't mention the Helo, but he was questioned on it.
I thought that was the first thing he commented on. When I started paying attention he was commenting about remembering them and honoring their sacrifice by finishing the mission.
Like Mr. Kerry, he used the riches generated by others in order to manipulate gullible Democrats into electing him to an office of public trust.
Let's hear it for future Senator-Elect Mark Kennedy!
-good times, G.J.P.(Jr.)
He did comment on the chopper crash. He said it was being investigated, it was sad, and he wouldn't comment until he knew the facts, he had only rumors on details.
NO! No literary references of any kind before 5pm!
The White House never makes official comment on military accidents/KIAs until investigations are complete and family members are notified.
"After the conference, ABC (Jennings) and CBS (Rather) immediately went into "deathtoll mode", reminding everyone how terrible things are in Iraq and how there's no chance for peaceful elections. The horror, the horror ..."
They are just trying to undermine what President Bush just said in the news conference......that's their role. If they talk long enough, maybe people will beleive their BS.
Gregory was on Imus this morning and Imus put up side-by-side pictures of Gregory and Howdy Doody. The resemblence was eerie.
We didn't vote for Bayh in the last election. I'm just stating that the media here as well as the newspapers tend to paint Bayh as conservatives and/or moderate conversatives when Bayh is neither.
Remeber we obsess on this kind of stuff.
It was about
1 getting on the evening news with his message
2 reassuring the American people that "it's all right.
MSNBC went too quickly to Condi debate..back to Fox.
I am fond of Bridgette Quinn after she shut down some whining liberal last week about how much money was being spent on the inauguration.
Andrea Mitchell is saying that the Dems will give Gonzales the same or worse treatment as Dr. Rice. She looks almost excited!
I hope she saved her originals, she can reuse them.........haha!
Yep! She did, I know.
That's the pic I made my pic from, of course.
"He didn't mention the Helo, but he was questioned on it."
He said it was sad anytime there is a loss of life in this war but had heard rumors on the cause of the crash and would wait till investigation was complete to comment further.
Inaugural run in for Reid aide.......it's on Lucianne.com
And it took him 4 (?) trys. And with a great deal of help from the local media.
If it turns out the tragic helicopter crash was due to an accident (prayers for these brave troops and their families), we can look to that awful and tragic train crash this morning right here in the U.S. that shows that tragedy can strike despite our best safeguards and efforts and mistakes can be corrected and we can try to prevent them, but still they will happen.
Good grief, I surfed back to Fox for a few minutes and had to figure out who this guest was and it's that Roger Stone wearing an obvious toupee (gray now, but the line of the hairpiece seemed plain to me) and he's got a new scholarly look going with eyeglasses and suit.
That segment ends and back to the train crash that I cited above. Back to CSPAN2 for me...
I was really hoping we caught a major bad guy! Anyway, Bush sure did look amused and happy! I sure wish, if they were gonna grill him, they would have through some American border control questions at him.
