My heart has been heavy ever since hearing this. Anyone reading this who has lost family and friends in our war against terror, thank you for your sacrifice and your loved one's sacrifice.
It's on CNN right now....they say 31 in a helicopter crash, 4 others in another incident, and one soldier in another part of Iraq.
Oh no!!!! Prayers goes out to those on board.
This is very tragic, and my prayers for all aboard and their families.
But I still remember sitting there watching Jimmeh stumbling through that announcement and thinking, boy, did he blow it. Instead of telling the American people about it, reminding us to be grateful for the courage and sacrifice of those on the helicopter, praying for their families - and then announcing that we were going to go in and get those hostages no matter what, Jimmeh did what he has always done: he folded. And, IMHO, this set the pattern for US "folding" until the day of Pres. Bush's speech after 9/11.
31! Please Lord, hold these fine Marines' families closely in your embrace. Prayers for all.
Thanks for the heads-up, time to take a prayer break and lift their families up in prayer.
God bless you and your hubby............I too will pray for those lost.
Thank God he's ok. I'm happy for you and your family. Prayers go out to you, your husband, your family, and all those affected by this tradegy.
Prayers that all is well with your husband

BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) — A U.S. Marine helicopter transporting troops to western Iraq crashed Wednesday in the western desert, the U.S. military said. A U.S. spokesman said there were casualties but gave no figures.
ABC-TV and CNN reported that 31 people were killed. MSNBC reported more than 30 dead. The Pentagon would not confirm the casualty count to The Associated Press.
The helicopter went down about 1:20 a.m. near the town of Rutbah, about 220 miles west of Baghdad, while conducting security operations, the military said in a statement. The aircraft was transporting personnel from the 1st Marine Division.
A search and rescue team has reached the site and an investigation into what caused the crash is underway, the military said.
"We can confirm casualties, but not what type or numbers yet," a U.S. spokesman, Lt. Col. Steven Boylan, said.

Sending you and all concerned prayers...

And meanwhile, Senator Kennedy of Massachusetts is talking about our braves troops' efforts, calling them a "failure". Kennedy is so blind with hatred for President Bush that he ignores the huge accomplishments of our troops in Iraq, and instead spends his time spitting on the graves of our soldiers. He and the other Demo Rats are the Enemy Within, and should be in jail for treason. The Jackass Party is destined for the ash heap of history.
My heart sank when I read this news.
May the Lord accept them into His loving embrace.
Prayers to all. Let us hope that Sunday's elections are successful and that their work wasn't for naught.
