Deer Runs Wild Through Home Of Renowned Sculptor
Alfred Tibor Is Holocaust Survivor And Sculptor

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- An 84-year-old Holocaust survivor known worldwide for his sculptures is recovering at a local hospital after fending off a 300-pound deer that ran wild inside his home, WCMH-TV in Columbus reported.
Alfred Tibor said that coming face-to-face with a 10-point buck and living to tell the story means he still has a great purpose to serve in his life -- to share a message of humanity, hope and love through his words and his work.
On Monday night, the buck charged through Tibor's living room window in his East Columbus, Ohio, home.
"I never, in my mind, was thinking that when my wife was yelling, 'Look it's a big deer in the living room!' ... I couldn't believe it," Tibor said. "I just didn't know what to do."
As Tibor distracted the deer, his wife ran outside and flagged down a passing taxi for help.
"When that buck was charging on me, and there were 10 antlers close in on my stomach, I don't know where I got the strength, but I guided him to the side with the antlers I was holding," Tibor said.
Tibor said the same inner strength that he found to make it through six years in a Siberian prison camp helped him survive the ordeal with the deer.
"The mind is the most important that gives you the strength, not physical power," Tibor said. "The mind has to be strong."
Columbus police found the deer in a bathroom in the home. Officers shot and killed it. Tibor said he felt sorry for the deer, but is otherwise OK.
Tibor, whose sculptures have brought him international acclaim, remains hospitalized in stable condition.

Well if it wasn't for global warming, which is a real phenomenon because the leftie, Euro scientists have said so, and Dubya is responsible for that as we know, the poor deer would probably have had something to eat, and wouldn't have been forced to enter this man's house out of desperation. I think if we analyze these things in a logical way, every problem will have a trail back to George.
We had an incident like this in Michigan.
The deer came through the front window and started going bezerk. The twist is that the owner came out of the shower, so he was a nekkid as a jaybird and slashed the deer's throat with a butcher knife.
A 300 pound, 10 point buck?? Wow. Sorry, he nearly got gored and he feels sorry for the deer that almost gored him. I hope he didn't feel this sorry for the people who stuck him in a prison camp in Siberia or the guards there.
Don't forget that the evil loggers have murdered all the foliage plants, so the deer was obviously forced to become a carnivore. And/or maybe it was a MUTANT buck! A genetically twisted victim of ARSENIC POISONING and ACID RAIN!

I am not showing this article to my son-in-law. He spent every waking available moment hunting and got a slightly 'smaller' doe this year. He will not be amused that this gentleman got a trophy without any effort.

I interviewed the guy on the radio and laughed my head off. He was so serious and I am picturing a nude 70 year old going wild with a deer.

If Tibor is "otherwise OK", why does he remain hospitalized?
He lives down the street from my husband and I. Beautiful sculptures. He has many in his front yard, as well as in the back. Mr. Tibor has lead an amazing life. I am glad he is ok. You should see the size of the window this big buck came through. He (the buck) must have been on a mission. :)
