There might be an opening. It's looking like Corzine is fixing to buy the NJ governorship in '08. Any NJ'rs know who the current republican front runners are? I'm given to understand the New Jersey repub party is sufficiently moribund that an energetic individual with some name recognition could concievably step right in.

Should make for a fun campaign. I can't wait to watch the fireworks.

Jerome Corsi, who, with retired Navy Lt. John O'Neill, is credited as the co-author of "Unfit for Command: Swift Boat Veterans Speak Out Against John Kerry," said he plans to move to Massachusetts later this year as the first step in his 2008 campaign for the U.S. Senate seat now held by Kerry. "I'm going to do it," Corsi said. "I've got serious political aspirations now." Probably long odds but will make for great TV and should get some national coverage! Just to have him tailing Kerry is worth it.

Is Corsi the one who got a lot of flak for posting on FR?

I think that Doug Forrester and Bret Schundler are the only two candidates who are committed to running, at the moment.
The race is probably going to get significantly more crowded as the year wears on.

Yea.

Sounds like Kerry's worst nightmare. But... I hope it doesn't stop someone who has a real chance.

Sen Corsi....I like it.
But O'Neil would be much more formidable an opponent. He's one cool cookie on camera.

"I'm going to do it," Corsi said. "I've got serious political aspirations now." He's got serious delusions of grandeur.

I'd love to see that debate.
