So many Communists, so little time...
Don't worry about a thing -- Jimmy Carter says Chavez is a good guy.
Here's to a Ceaucescu ending to the ongoing troubles in Venezuela.
Perhaps he has some Confederate regiments down there ...
Too bad someone can't take him out !
Ahh, I can see it now...Miller Lite beer commercial, part two between Miss Venezuela and Miss Colombia.

Thanks for posting, and a belated welcome to FR..I've bookmarked your site, and will check in when Ican..buit if you post more on FR, kindly ping me. One question, if I may. I'd say that I've gotten most of my information on what's happening in Venezuela from the "Americas" column in the Wall Street Jurnal by Mary Anastasia O'Grady...I assume you're familar with her commentary. I'd be interested in your take on her observations...thanks
He's going to wind up in a cell next to Noriega.
Chavez is not a brave man, but I don't think he is leaving office alive.
Mary Anastasia O'Grady (Wall Street Journal) is, IMHO, the best analyst we have on Latin America. She's the only one who seems to take Chavez seriously, too.
BTW, were you aware that Zapatero had planned to visit Chavez on his tour through LatAm this week(where he is visiting Lula, Kirchner and Lagos)? ZP wanted to finalize a contract for VZ to buy a military ship and 20 patrol boats for the VZ navy. Colombia lodged a formal objection, so in theory he is not going to VZ. However, nowhere did I read that Spain has cancelled the contract, so I'd say VZ is definitely arming itself.
Ugo Chavez should start a war with the United States. When our military guns the commie s.o.b. down, there will fewer and less effective Senate investigations if it happens while UGO is "defending" the presidential palace. Arrivaderci, UGO!!!!!!
