The Babs and Klavern Show! (Senate Condi Debate Live Thread)
C-Span ^ | today | me

Posted on 01/25/2005 4:40:04 AM PST by section9

Yes folks, I know it's a couple of hours away, but for you loyal C-Span listeners, the debate will be carried live on C-Span 2 today. Live streaming on C-Span 2's server for those of you with high bandwidth carriers.

Box-o-Rox has asked for a full hour in which to call Dr. Rice a lying slut. Meantime, the senior Senator from the state of West Virginia has brought some friends of his down to testify to Rice's unfitness for her office:

Other Dhimmis have asked for time to object to Dr. Rice as well. Meantime, I wonder if McCain or Hagel will actually rise to her defense?

(...sound of crickets...)

Arlen Specter? Anybody?

Be Seeing You,

Chris

Do they ever? They just let the Dems go on and on and on and get away with lies!

To take the positive side of all this, the more Condoleeza is out there in the public eye and her brilliant and calm reserve is seen in the face of attacks, she'll be a bright candidate to run against Hillary in '08. I'm thinking the Republicans are saying "go ahead, give us soundbites to run on in '08 you morons" and the dems are just stupid enough to fall right into the hole.

Thanks for posting all the dem hypocrisy quotes, Mo1.

I guess they are lucky they are out of power so they don't have to be grilled about their self-contradictions.

Oh, yes, Sheets. Let's talk about Weasley Clark.

I'm not gonna let them not fight for the next four years, after I fought so hard to get President Bush reelected!

If she runs, but somehow I doubt she will run. I don't think she has any political aspirations.

Yes, Sheets. Let's see what the Clinton people thought about terrorism. Why, look at this:

Its very frustrating to find quotes like this:

On Nov. 14, 1998, the venerable Sen. Robert C. Byrd said, "The U.S. should strike, strike hard and strike decisively. In this instance, the administration needs to act sooner rather than later."

Sheets is a bleeping HYPOCRITE!!!

Speaking of going on and on and on...this woman is always running her mouth about something or another. Of source, nothing ever comes out except hot air. You'd think the environmentalists would object because she's single-handedly contributing to several degrees of global warming.

We fought harder on FR than I see the Republican Senators fighting not just for Condi Rice's confirmation but for the families who have loved ones risking their lives in Iraq who hear this DNC spin on the war and aren't sure their loved one's efforts are worthwhile.

I am hoping someone on this thread with better math skills than I will actually compute that to see what the heck Byrd is talking about---

besides I thought talking about Jesus Christ in a Federal building was a no-no!
