And what's to beat all, this little proclivity of Ford's was made public by Ford himself. It seems that Ford authored, sponsored, and nearly single-handedly got a law on TN books that says a father with children living with him and not under a support order cannot have his support increased due to the fact that he has other chidlren to care for. He was fighting a THIRD woman's court request to have her own support increased for her daughter that Ford sired. In court, to make his point that he shouldn't have his support increased, he revealed that he not only supported one family, but two, and that's how this story got out. Amazing. And it won't mean diddly for his re-election chances.

For you, me and the cat down the street it is. Not so with Ford. He can do anything he wants. There was an incident a few years ago where Ford was hotfooting it down I-40 and a semi got in his way. Being who he is, (or who he THINKS he is), he started waving his cell phone out of the sunroof trying to get the attention of the trucker. Turns out his "cell phone" was either a .38 or 45 caliber model. Charges were filed then swept under the rug. Typical of Harold Ford, jr.'s uncle. Living in Memphis gives me a ringside seat to this travesty. What a major embarrassment he is. How the voters in this city keeps electing him is beyond all rational thought.
Rush and Hannity were on this yesterday. What a joke. John Ford is our black Clinton, only with a lot of children born of unwed parents.

Having spent three months in this fair city didn't give you an indication of the voter base is. King Willie Herenton and state sinator John Ford will keep getting elected untill they piss enough of their voter base off, and some of them are changing their tunes on these two pricks. It would take some of their voter base to come right out and say RECALL. That's what it's going to take to get rid of this scum. A lot of people are moving out of Memphis, Shelby County, and the State of Tennessee, in part, because of them. What a POS they are.

I hear you. I've got three more years till retirement and then my wife and I are out. EVERYTHING done in Memphis has to contain a racial element. So very sad, but it's ALWAYS there. Memphis will NEVER advance so long as the King Willie's and John Ford's are in power. Talk about slave masters, they are two of the biggest in this city.
My wife and I were both born and raised here but after the last 15 years of political malfeasance and being tag-teamed on taxes from the city and county, trying to out-tax the other, we're sick of it. You got out when the getting was good. The exodus has begun. We can't wait to join it.

He's a Ford, first, then a scumbag. He can get by with living outside his district, acting like a lunatic in public (or, maybe, he isn't acting), firing a pistol at a trucker out the sunroof of his Mercedes, pulling shotguns on utility workers, and all sorts of behavior that would send a normal human rapidly out of the public domain.

He can be seen, on I-40, between Memphis and Nashville, pedal to the metal, in his Mercedes, and troopers fear for their jobs, if they pull him over. A rotten scofflaw is he.

He has no shame, and cries "Racism" or "Racist" at any criticism. His constituents love him in spite of his flaws, and they are blatant and many in number.

His nephew, Rep. Harold Ford, Jr. (D.,Tn) is planning on running for the U.S. senate in '06 either against Frist or for an open seat, if Frist sticks to his plans to leave the senate. Harold will carry Memphis and the western end of the state by a whopping majority, but will probably not scratch in the saner areas.
