This is my first post so I hope I got it right.
This is breaking here in San Anonio. A single engine plane has been forced down at Stenson Field south of San Antonio. Homeland Security, DPS and SAPD are on the scene. They are waiting for a Chinese tranlator but they have Chinese illegals in custody and said that the pilot was someone Homeland Security has been looking for.
I'll post more as it comes available.
Thanks for the ping.
On a good night I can get WOAI way up here in SD, just turned on radio and it is crystal clear as we speak. Just in time for the news about clothes, police, and prostitution thing.
"They are four illegal "Asians", two men and two women"
I wonder if it's the same two men and two women Asians that were being sought in Boston.
A connection to Operation Bojinka...
I guess putting SAMs on the border is out of the question?
LOL! Keep listening! Here's an interesting note from WOAI TV.
The plane was picked up by HOMELAND SECURITY Radar and was flying in from the South but the origin was unknown. Well...
1) I didn't know we had Homeland Security Radar down here. And...
2) It wasn't flying in from Arkansas unless Slick Willie is back in the smuggling business. lol!!
Its amazing how strong WOAI is when the fam and I travel to KS at night I can pick it up all the way.

Mexican authorities question man about Boston terror plot tip
SAN DIEGO The F-B-I says a man suspected of telling authorities about a possible terror plot targeting Boston is in custody.
Mexican authorities detained the man for questioning in the border town of Mexicali yesterday.
Agents say Jose Ernesto Beltran Quinones may be the one who reported that nuclear material was being brought into the U-S from Mexico. The implication from the tipster was that there was a plot to detonate a radioactive "dirty bomb."
Officials have said they doubted the terror claims. But the tip prompted a search for a group of Chinese nationals.
Some officials theorize the tip came from a smuggler who was trying to get revenge against Chinese immigrants, perhaps because they failed to pay.
Thanks for the info! There are several of us from the San Antonio area on FR.
One of the things I love about FR. You get a news article posted, but also a ton of cross referenced information about the article. Information you wouldn't get anywhere else. Thanks for the info!
How did I miss getting on your Texas ping? I'd love to be added. Thanks!
Azfel now has his flight school at the San Antonio Int'l Airport Campus.

I JUST CAUGHT THE NUMBER ON THE PLANE BEING HELD AT STINSON FIELD.

in Seguin where are you?
Fits a marry-to-get-citizenship profile.
More than likely, a Blackhawk or similar helicopter flew up to it, somebody inside pointed a gun at the Cessna, and beckoned them to follow the helo. A Blackhawk can easily keep up with a 172, especially an overloaded one.

In both cases, Boston and now San Antonio reports of Chinese Nationals, 2 men and 2 women.. Coincidence? Here is the 4 wanted in Boston, I'm wondering if this is linked and these are the same 4.
Great information posted on this thread...thank you.
Good work Homeland Security...this sounds like a good catch.
He's 48 and she's 70? He should be in jail for that alone.
There are tethered balloons with radar.

On the WOAI site the latest article has this quote from the SA police captain.
""I've been looking at the pictures (of the Boston suspects) on the TV like everybody else, and I did not recognize anything that would make me think that there was a connection," Humphrey said. "
