Certainly the Senate has the lawful power to determine Senatorship...but is it spelled out in the law that no one else has that power under any other circumstance?

Yes. Basically, the Senate decides whether or not to seat the prospective Senator in question. Unfortunately, it's a one-time decision after each election.

I think Tom Campbell could beat Boxer. He ran against Feinstien which was a mistake. I think he would be a great candidate.

I don't know how she could have been reelected with all the campaigning Arnold did for Jones and President Bush. I just don't see how Boxer could have been reelected and President Bush loosing the state. Don't you know Arnold is the great big HOPE for the California Voters. Oh wait, Arnold did not campaign in the state except for the tax payer's billion dollars package for stem cell research..Oh yes, Arnold did campaign in the state of Ohio (Maria must had said it was okay) but somehow could not in the state of California (Maria must had said it was not okay).....Now Arno's followers are floating a trial balloon to allow foreigners to be elected President (Sorry Teddy but it still will not work to get back into the White House).

I seem to not have that law in front of me. Could you show it to me, please?

well, step in their boots, severely damaged by the quaking from fear.

They lost the election and all of the levers of power are out of reach.....save their pathetic Senator, a dyed in wool radical.

They lost their governor and guess who is the new governot? The Terminator no less.

They should be afraid, very afriad.

I get the impression from Rick that he doesn't need the job, so these threats to force his firing will not be effective. Rick is a very sharp guy so I'm sure he anticipated the response from the rabid Left and he warned his station and advertisers ahead of time. San Diego is fortunate to have two outstanding local talk show hosts in Rick and Roger Hedgecock.

Really too bad we Californians weren't capable of replacing Boxer before that became an issue.

Of course I see that the Dems have now assigned their 'Grand Wizard' Robert Byrd to dog Rice. Maybe she'll help him into a fit of 'apoplexy' and 'early retirement'. I'd rather pay him for doing nothing, of course, than for doing all his 'evil' things.
