I believe that Oregon National Guard troops have taken more casualties as a percentage then those from any other states. (Someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong) Our guys are right out there on the front lines serving our country honorably while the Marxists back home stab them in the back.

I am familiar with their sacrifices since they are attached to my home state's brigade. Being used to my guys working primarily with Southern units, I was a little concerned about them getting tied up with a bunch from the Pacific Northwest. My bigotry was misplaced. They have definitely shouldered their share of the burden and more and are appreciated here.

Probably the same thing. I cannot believe they can get away with this. I bet if you looked at the vehicles the profs drive, 99% would still have their Kerry/Edwards stickers on them. Why do liberals deny the freedoms of others? What are they so afraid of?

"These are like their offices they work in them for eight hours a day.. they're going to do something personal with them," said Ron Lattion, facilities Maintenace worker. When I was applying for a job teaching science at my alma mater, a public school in Georgia, the HR director who interviewed me had a "Hillary for Senate" mug on her desk...

>>>I believe the Food and Forgage Act enacted during the Civil War has established that 'Support the Troops' is not a political statement. This is a school. They don't teach history. They would have no way of knowing that.
I bet you are right, because I have never heard of the Food and Forage Act before. Time to get Googlin'!

Good grief! There's probably only 1 in 50 vehicles in my neck of the woods that does NOT have one of those stickers.

After the MAIN STREAM MEDIA, the Education Establishment is the most effective enemy of the USofA. It must be reformed or the nation is in trouble.

public employees can not use state resources to spread political messages I hope no university staff is involved in the planning of or approval of left wing speakers, events, etc. Good for the goose and all. Anti-War = statement of conscience, pro-Troops = political statement. Let's hope the big one in California takes out Oregon too.

"Under state law... public employees can not use state resources to spread political messages."
Horse crap. University Professors (public employees) spread political messeages every day of their life in the classrooms. What needs to happen is for someone to sue them when they make a leftist political statement and get them removed!

I was just down in Austin this pm, and was kind of surprised. I hadn't been down on the drag in probably about seven or eight years, and the students have changed so much. Punk is dead. The students were wearing clean, decent clothes, and the stores on the drag weren't the screwball stores from a few years ago, but basically sub shops, mexican food restaurants, etc.
A lot of the profs are still Che fans, but the students are increasingly conservative.

Must mean all activism/lefttie-views supported by the University's professors and other leftist employees will be immediately halted.
Yah right!

Anyone writing to those U of O administrators could copy a ribbon onto blank paper, perhaps lightened somewhat so it is in the background like a watermark and use that stationery to voice their complaint. Hey, this could be a "Get Rich Quick" scheme for someone. "Support Our Troops" stationery!

I have this yellow sticker supporting our troops on my car, and if anybody told me to remove it, for whatever reason, I'd punch them in the nose! I'm too old to fight WITH them, but I can sure fight FOR them here in America. God Bless our military and God Bless President Bush.

I thought it was telling when the libs squawked about fire engines across the USA carrying the US Flag shortly after 9-11 as being too political. 'Nuff said. :-(
