Who cares? He doesn't matter.
To: FairOpinion
He's obviously plagiarising off of Kerry and Boxer's votes.

If the Democrats are going to grand-stand against every nominee for any office... why don't the Republicans in congress just roll right over them?

Personally, I would like to see Republicans take out ads "calling Democrats as racists" in various selected newspapers and 1-minute sound bytes in Spanish Language radio stations, in the home territories of Democrats opposing Gonzales Confirmation.
Since the Dem's never hesitate to "play the race card," I would like to see it played against them.
P.S. I would also like to see some similar adds aimed at those that hassled Condi Rice in her confirmation hearings.

I saw this camera hound saying this today and, aside from my seeing his performance as being yet another attempt to grab some air time, I had the reaction 'So What'.

Ignore them. The Republicans hold the majority - Biden, Boxer, Kennedy - are all remnants of the past.

OK, how about withdrawing Gonzales, and nominating Roy Moore of Alabama?
I would pay a cover charge to watch the entertainment in the SJC and the lamestream media over THAT nomination.

I'm leaning against it, too. I don't trust Gonzales. Is this the best the President can do? Why can't he appoint another AG who understands the second amendment, and will take a strong stand on illegal immigration? This is symptomatic of the unspoken difficulties we're having getting Bush's judicial appointments approved: the timbre of these men and women is often questionable. The constitution isn't always a document that limits government power in popular ways. But it's not up to the AG to waive or reinterpret the meanings of law.

If Gonzales has the same view as President Bush concerning those who've stolen their way into the U.S., who steal and forge documents to "work" and draw public funded compensation, then Biden may be wiser than the Nominee.
