I truly believe the above to be a most realistic threat, not to the republican nor democratic party, but, far more important....to our children, grandchildren, dear friends and all fellow Americans.

Good one.

Bump.
Chilling... and spot on.
There are a couple of historical errors in this, but overall I agree completely.
The parallels between WWII and the War on Terror are uncanny. The only question is whether we'll learn from history.
...because MSM is controlling the minds of average American. Now who is behind it?
"But the stakes are at least as high: a world dominated by representative governments with civil rights, human rights, and personal freedoms--or a world dominated by a radical Islamic Wahhabi movement, and by the Jihad, under the Mullahs and the Sharia. "
If we had any kind of worthwhile media, they would be drumming this into everyone's head, instead of trying to prevent Bush from literally saving the world from this horrendous threat.
I've noticed that as well. Lots of naysayers didn't want us to get involved in that one either, Joe Kennedy Sr. was one of the most notable.
I sometimes wonder what the European countries are thinking. And I sometimes think we shouldn't care. But that is not what our country is about. We have been in the past, and always will be, the country looking out for those who don't have the sense to look out for themselves.
Just wow.
BTTT
And, this morning, Katie Couric had a special segment on new baby names. (How the left names the aborted, I'm not really sure...)
In some ways it's fortunate that we have WWII as a lesson because it makes it very clear what the risks are for inaction in the face of crazies. We can either stand up to them, or we can let them succeed, which is unthinkable.
Sometimes I wonder what the world would be like now if the Nazis had won. Not a pleasant place to live. And yet the price to defeat them was terrible - 70 million people died in WWII.
Bad as the Nazis were, I almost think the terrorists are worse. At least the Nazis weren't trying to shove their perverted religion down our throat. Both make me shudder.
It's dead on.
Thanks for posting this. Gives one perception and the bigger picture.
I'm sure neither of us would be posting messages here. Or even own a computer. I could go on and on, but like you, I shudder to think what life would be like.
Actually, I probably wouldn't have even been conceived.

What the old media will not tell you is that the Baathist regime in Iraq was a direct descendant of NAZI Germany. All of Saddam's officers were required to read Mien Kampf.
No offense, but I wish people wouldn't do this....if there is a problem with a piece....say what it is....and give some of us ignorants a chance to learn something!
I am inclined to believe that usually when people do this, they mean "I disagree with some particular assertion the author has made, but I am too smug to explain why, so I will pretend that everybody else agrees with me."
