Links not updated yet, this was just announced on 97.1 Talk FM.
The Chief of Police and his assistant/deputy are in FBI Custody. There is to be a press confrence at 2:30 to announce the details.
All indications is that this is in regard to an investigation into Voter Fraud that began immediately after the November presidential election.
Call the DU and the DNC so they can demand a recount ;-)
From August 11, 2004 story:
Qattoum was cited for unlawful use of a weapon, resisting a peace officer, aggravated battery to a police officer, and having oscillating red and blue lights in his personal vehicle. Murphy ran a records check on Qattoum, and learned he had an outstanding bench warrant from St. Clair County. Qattoum was released after posting a $1,500 bond.

"key Democrats"? I am shocked. How could this have happend? Must be linked to the evil Karl Rove.
GITMO?
When I hit the St Louis, Missouri city limits I begin to duck.
When I hit the East St Louis, Illinois city limes, I duck even lower.
If you look up chaos in the dictionary it says Fathers Day in East St. Louis.
And watch. I imagine there will be charges of racism.
I LOVE THIS COUNTRY!!!
Take sometime to read all the posts and the links this story is great.
Cops stealing from drug dealers, Dem."s doing something with money and votes, and the Police Department getting arrested.
so did clark griswald and family.
rotflmao.
east st louis. a boil on humanity.
(hope carl officer doesn't have my address.)
or the banks clan, they may send rag head taxi drivers after me.
No, I think given the direction his car went he ended up in North St. Louis, which is even worse than East St. Louis. East St. Louis is just where North St. Louisans dump their victims...
what a shock.
My God.....Gore looks almost lifelike in that picture!
Why in Gods name would they make fake votes in Illinois? It's not like Kerry or Obama were ever in danger of losing that state.
My, my, my... Wonder if they'll ever make their way to Washington State.
As I recall, Officer came out two days before the election as the head of some Democrats for Bush organization. (For what its worth)
Actually that scene was in St. Louis. They were coming from the east, headed west for California. They cross the bridge and you can see the Arch ahead. There are some pretty rough areas just blocks from downtown that that could have happened in.
We used to have to count hundreds of "pinholed" votes we knew were obviously fraudulent just because the laws were such there was no way to discount them. We were told to use our best judgement to determine the "voter's intent" and punch out the pinholed chads or chads near pinholes. Both parties' judges had to agree on which chad was the intended one, but we weren't given the option of discounting the entire ballot as a fake as we shouuld have been. Questionable ballots the machines spit out- which were the pinholed ballots, of course. So by going through the pinholes and making them into clean chad holes, we were unwittingly conducting a coverup operation that would leave no evidence of a pinhole.
Pinholed votes usually show up in black precincts. According to the racist Democrats, this was because black women wore fancy hats that usually were held in place by hatpins, and over the years blacks voted by pulling the ever-so-convenient hatpins out and using them as a stylus to punch the cards, leaving the chads inplace but perforating them or areas near them with a tiny hole.
In reality the hatpin excuse was just to cover for the famous Lib ballot box stuffing tactic of punching multiple ballots "on behalf" of a number of voters who didn't bother to vote and didn't know some Democrat was voting for them. A stylus won't go through a stack of ballots but a hatpin will, so on election eve a hatpin is needed to get enough votes faked in time to put your candidate over the top.
That the Dems went to enormous lengths to do this is a good indicator their popularity is vastly overestimated even in Ilinois.
