OK, we've all talked about doing it - Drop by here and report all the Damn Dimes you're specifically going out and spending today. Talk about getting 'bang-for-your-bucks', we can counter-protest the loony lefties today, drive the DUmmies nutz, celebrate the innaguration of OUR President, and stimulate the economy - all at the same time! Let's see just how much money the FReepers can spend today!
what is all this about?
Gave $100 to the wife to go shopping. Going out for lunch and dinner, getting the car fixed!!!!
$2200 on a new Sleep Number bed (an obscene profit supporter of the Rush Limbuiagh program).
"On my way right now to the local latte purveyor (non-Starbucks) .."
Good for you! For those that don't know, Starbucks is anti-gun and donates to the Brady Campaign. If you value the 2nd Amendment, don't spend your dimes there!
Spend money.
Liquid-cooled, SLI'ed, Voodoo PC =)
Take that, libs!
Wow, great job! At the end of the thread, we need someone to log into DUmmie Land and post just how much the FReepers spent today, specifically to counter their 'puny protest'
So far, I stopped to get gas that I didn't need yet, got a car wash, coffee, breakfast burrito and apple turnover. - $28.24
Just sent JimRob 10 cents per day for the next year of FreeRepublic - $36.50
lol!
I better clean the place up :)
Thanks for the reminder! I need to go pick up the Lord of the Rings trilogy boxed set for $99.00. I have been avoiding it because it's so expensive but hey it is 12 DVDs!
WOW, can I come???
I'm just about to run over to Sears to get a new television-dvd player combo and some blank discs for my minidisc recorder.
I'm buying a carton of smokes, then I'm coming home to clean my guns, read my Bible, and send care packages to my nephew in Iraq.
Sure but you gotta be here by 2 PM.
I'll also fill up my SUV tank while I am out!
Everyone I talk to has enjoyed theirs. I have been putting it off for a while. I was driving an Isuzu Amigo for the past 8 years. It has been a fun vehicle, but earlier last year I was out at a client meeting and the Boss needed a ride back to the office and I had my bike in the back. The look I got was exactly disapproval but it kind of let me know I needed to move on :-) So I have been saving up for it. Then I got clobbered so the extra money from the insurance check put me over the top.
