55th Inauguration And Day's Events - Live Thread
I know! Why is Fox not showing this? I am just furious about this. O'Reilly doesn't need to be on!
I so appreciated the ongoing commentary, the pictures, and the narration of the events today while cube bound - would like to thank all on this thread for all the help given.
This Cheney chick says that he looks mighty fine tonight.
Don't you like the way they deny the fact that the real fat cats are the Democrats?
Saw the piece on Laura...what a dear.
Should we consider an "Inaugural Ball" Thread? No one
seems to have started one and this one is getting slightly
"overloaded".
I'll start it if y'all think it's a good idea.
Cheney's got quite the little bounce in his step. I love him. Bless his heart.
OMG, I am so behind; this is what I get for agreeing to let people come here during an Inauguration!
I wanted to watch the whole thing up here, but I'm in the country and do not have cable or a dish. I was FORCED to go back and forth between ABC and CBS.
I watched ABC and was stunned at the outrageous and blatant bias of Peter Jennings. He got in sooooo many little jabs at President Bush it was unreal. Comment after comment to ridicule and heap scorn on the president. He was even nasty to Laura Bush...said that four years ago she probably didn't even know who Oscar de la Renta was but now she wears his clothing.
He is such an arrogant jackass. Must be something about Canadian blood.
If you start a thread, please let me know.
I had not seen that green dress yet...thank you so much for posting that picture. Very beautiful color and detailing.
Dick Cheney is quite the dancer!
Who knew?!
Yes, that was great! His sense of humor and twinkle in his eye is just terrific. Lynn looks beautiful in coral!
I think he said he hadn't danced with his wife in 4 years but he looks to be a good dancer to me.
I ADORE the green gown. The others are beautiful and probably look spectacular in person, but the green is really captured on film.
Cheney looked mighty fine, I must say! I melted when he said he wanted to "dance with his bride", got teary eyed.
Ah, where are men (young, and single) like that today...
I got teary too because Mr. Peach calls me is bride still and there was just something about the way Cheney said it that was so loving.
I think so. I think this thread is too big for some people to handle. We can stick in whatever interviews we see as well. Please go ahead!
