I just hit this thread and wanted to say that it's a great day, and an especially great time to be an American.
The musical performances have been wonderful, and the band sounds great. Everyone looks good, especially the First Lady, who is absolutely glowing. President Bush is starting to exude that Reaganesque confidence and I am looking forward to the possibilities of the next four years.
This is a truly special day, and I am thankful to be able to witness it.

I read Lincoln's 2nd Inagural Address earlier. I suggest it to all.
Freepers sure have spent some down times together. I'm always thankful to have FreeRepublic to get me through them. But it's a day like today when we can celebrate together online that I truley appeciate. This is an exciting day! I wish I could be there.
