I can't see Hillary allowing that. I doubt she would have the control over him. She would want someone whom she can control, because she will need that for her '08 run.

Gee, it seems it's only been a week since the pro-lifers in the Democrat Party - all two dozen of 'em - were speaking of how rosy former Indiana Rep. Tim Roemer's chances were.

And the bottom is exactly where you're most likely to find a Drifting, Whining Dem.

What an appropriate move on their part.
Now their dream ticket would have to be Hugo Chavez and Jesse Jackson. Ramsey Clark could reprise his role as Attorney General, and of course, who else could they choose but Madeleine Albright to serve as Secretary of State? By boldly announcing now such an appropriate slate to match their chairman, I believe that the Democrats would in a perfect position for 2008.

Many in the democratic leadership in red states are actually hardline, almost Green leaning figures.

More proof that there is a God, and he/she is a Rebublican.

"If you want to win, you've got to start at the bottom" That's not true in politics. Voters know less about local candidates than Presidential candidates. Candidates at the top of the ballot have coattails, not vice-a-versa."
It's always a Gubernatorial or Senate candidate that breaks the hold of the opposing party on a state.

I read that the struggle for the chairmanship is a backscenes fight between Lady Macbeth and His Enormousness Ted. Dean is a Kennedy man. If Dean wins - and I hope so - it will help alienate people. Remember when Carter threatened to whip Ted's ass? Ted never forgave him.
Go, Dean, go.

Did Carter ever get around to whipping Ted's ass? It's a fair sized target!
