Hi gang. I know we've seen this plenty of times, however, our troops always need our prayers. My son, Casey is still there, since last March. He's doing well, but has had some "near misses" a time or two. He was "knifed" in his shoulder, and has been in a couple of "kill or be killed" situations. Supposed to be home in March. Your prayers are coveted and very much appreciated.

We confess that You are the Keeper of Casey's life and that You know exactly what he is facing every day in Iraq. Grant him Your protection and the confidence of knowing that You are a Shield for him and that You keep his feet from falling. Give him supernatural wisdom and courage as he finishes up the work that You have set before him there. Reward him, Lord, for his faithfulness, for he has been willing to lay down his life to defend his fellow citizens in America as well as the people of Iraq. May Your blessings follow him all of his days and may his family rejoice in the peace that You give them. In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

I pray for our troops daily...many freepers prayed for my hubby and his *kids* when they were in Iraq and for that I am grateful.

I know this hell. My younger son just got back. The older one being a field grade officer is there indefinitely.
My prayers are with your buddy's son and with every other American in uniform.
