What difference does it make? The NYT folks will just make stuff up no matter whether they've talked to those with knowledge or not. It will ALWAYS come out anti-American, anti-Bush and pro-Eurinal/UN/French/left-wing!

Ghoulie behavior from the NYTimes. Why don't they just digup graves. NYT - no respectors of military, no respectors of anyone, period. NY Times is hoping to create a "frankenstein" story.

They are lucky they don't face charges. Many military posts are restricted access. If you are not where you are supposed to be, you could face federal charges.

The Times people entered the facility unannounced, uninvited and unescorted. They were "asked" to leave when the PAO found out what they were up to.

Standard procedure for reporters to talk to the Public Affairs Officer (PAO), rather than soldiers. Matter of fact, troops are generally warned about talking to reporters without the knowledge of the PAO.

Must have been the second string 'reporters'. Any reporter with any short and curlies on his/her a&^ would be at the front 'reporting'...not at home trying to make political capital out of a soldier's pain and misfortune. Jackasses!
