CONDI GETS 16-2 YEAS. GUESS WHO THE TWO NO'S WERE!

Posted on 01/19/2005 8:32:36 AM PST by Grendel9

It was pretty obvious that Kerry got Boxer to do his dirty work for him when questioning Condi. It wouldn't have looked too good for the MA Senator if HE had taken on Condi himself.

Condi in '08. Split the black vote, she'll already get most of the vote GWB got in '04....shoe in. First black person elected POTUS, conservative. First woman elected POTUS, conservative.....as far as lib/soc/dems go....put a fork in 'em.

According to foxnews.com...

Senators voting "nay" to putting Rice in charge of the State Department were Democrats Barbara Boxer of California and John Kerry of Massachusetts.

I watched. Disgusting!

I'll tell you, having to deal with a completely corrupt demonrat legislature, state and fed, is tough. I've got no one to complain to, my threat of holding back a vote for her is nonsense, as if I ever would. Well, I guess I've got Bush and Arnie to comfort me, but I am truly ashamed of California for allowing human feces like boxer the public platform.

kerry is a traitor and should be tried as such!

If Kerry runs for president again this vote will probably come back to haunt him. Condi will be so awesome as secretary state and he will have to explain why he voted against her!!! As for Boxer, it was so worth it watching Condi turn her into minced meat!

John F has set this up perfectly.

He can vote for her tomorrow during the full Senate vote. He can then say "I voted for her after I voted against her".

Yep, gives her 2 years of SOS experience. I love what is shaping up to look like the next 12 years of R's in the WH.

They always claim to be pro-minorities, but in reality, they are only for liberal minorities

You've got that right. They are only for minorities as long as said minority individual toes the party line. If Kerry had won and was nominating a black SoS, hispanic AG etc...you can be sure we would be innundated with stories of how "diverse" his cabinet is.

Bush has the most diverse cabinet and appointments in history yet we hear nothing about it. Why? Because they are minorites who don't follow the victim mentality that liberalism requires to sustain itself. If you don't need government help then you don't need liberals.

Its just another example of liberal media bias. Minorites reach amazing heights and are not celebrated as such because they go against the orthodoxy.

Quick, somebody change Kerry's diaper. He's smelling up the room.

Big baby. I actually thought he was going to cry when he said "no". He had a pouting look on his face. hehe

"Do you agree? Why is it that liberals are so against these minorities?"

1-They are not liberal enough for them.
2-They don't want the GoP to have the credit for doing it.

It's like pulling the drain plug from their own boat.

Absolutely!!! Chaney will step down next year for health reasons and Bush will appoint Dr. Rice as VP, leaving her the front runner for 2008.

I have speculated something like this along the same lines on other threads, but see George Allen as the likely candidate:

Bush is a business executive at heart with a Harvard MBA. Savvy business executives implement effective succession plans.

Bush may have a succession plan that sees Cheney serving through the 2006 election, resigning to become an advisor to the upcoming 2008 campaign. Then George Bush could appoint George Allen as his VP -- especially if a Republican governor is elected after Warner's term is up.

There would then be an sense of incumbency running against the Democrat pack in 2008 together with 2 years more of national name recognition for Allen and Bush's personal political grooming for the job when he retires from office.

am starting to think that many of these liberals are possibly racists. They always claim to be pro-minorities, but in reality, they are only for liberal minorities.

Only if those Liberal Minorities stay on the plantation (or in the case of my people, on the rez) and are useful to the liberals in their quest for power.

However, all one has to do is look at people like Margaret Sanger, the founder of what became Planned Parenthood and namesake of the feminist Sanger Award, as an example of the Liberal Racism. Eugenics, forced sterilizations, etc of "minorities and other undesirables" - long before Hitler hit the scene. It's my opinion that they were his inspiration, but that may be a stretch.

"I am starting to think that many of these liberals are possibly racists."

Along similar lines, I am starting to think that Sen. Boxer and Sen Kerry are possibly hypocritical crapweasels. Do you suppose so?
