My prediction since Novemebr, give Cheney 1 or two years, Condi will be VP, dare them to go against her for VP. Then she's the UNBEATABLE nominee for prez, with (hopefull, for insult to injury) Jeb as VP.

Heard about the Rice's interrogation via callers to Bill Bennett's radio program this a.m. Rice held her own against Boxer. Good for Condi! Condi must have had 2/3rds of her brain tied behind her back to merely "hold her own" against the Boxed One.

Boxer, who started off her questioning yesterday by explaining M L King's views to Condi, is afraid that some black woman- named Condi- might be California Senator one day.
What arrogance, I wish Condi had replied to her with a few snide "Yes'm"s. But she's got too much class for that.

It wouldn't have looked too good for the MA Senator if HE had taken on Condi himself.Kerry might not have 'taken on' Dr. Rice in the same way Boxer did; but he DID manage to be both smarmy and condescending toward her at the same time.
The pompous Senator Lurch was especially revolting when he kept telling Dr. Rice how much he was "impressed" by Dr. Rice's "life story" -- but then announced that he refused to deign to "vote to ratify [her] life story."
If it had been a Republican saying something so self-importantly snobbish as this to a black Dimocratic nominee, he would've been run out of the Senate on a rail for being a rich white racist.
