President and Laura Bush attended Saluting Those Who Serve today, honoring members of our Armed Forces at an event that helped kick off his second Inauguration, in which, contrary to media reports, he is celebrating the clear mandate he received from the American people on November 2nd. His father and mother, former President George H. W. Bush, and former First Lady, Barbara Bush also attended the event, where President Bush 41 recounted his World War II experiences.
President Bush is working on his Inaugural Address which concentrates on the themes of freedom abroad, and an ownership society at home.
Also today (all day), Condoleezza Rice appeared at her Senate confirmation hearing before the committee that will confirm her as Secretary of State. ENJOY your trip to Sanity Island, and the Daily Dose!!
This pic is great...love that little wave.....I've had enough of politics today...I've watched the Condi hearings all day and Im once again disgusted by the rats..thank the Lord they are not in power..Im gonna take a hot bubble bath and watch some mind numbing tv...
Great photos tonight, Ohio. Thanks for finding them all for us.
Maybe if B ill Clinton was doing his job instead of boinking interns, we might not be at war right now..... You ever think of that you loser?
Get over it. Bush won. Why in the world should he adopt humility about continuing an American tradition...paid for by private citizens? Go cry somewhere else.
AM We have a terrible oder here on this thread that needs your attention
The Admin Moderator used the pooper scooper and removed the offensive poster
62 MILLION votes IS a mandate, you idiots!!!
Sheesh!!! These leftist trolls are PATHETIC!!
Hey SEVERA.........back to CONGRATULATE you for being NUMBER ONE!! :o)
Oh GET OVER IT!!! You SORE-LOSERMAN! You commie-libs just can't stand it that GWB won the election! You can't stand being on the "LOSING" side! Well, tough! Get over it already! And take your "down-in-the-mouth, woe is me" attitude and place it on another forum...
Speaking of humility -- or lack thereof -- it is the height of conceit for people of your political persuasion to throw away over 200 years of American electoral history in which the losing side always accepted the results of elections -- even the closest and most bitterly contested -- for the good of the nation. Get lost you hypocrite.
(Wolfstar, I agree that the DOSE isn't the place for those photos.....thanks!)
Hehehe, I LOVE that Graphic, Ohio! Thank you for the Dose!
Thanks for these delightful photos, Condi is awesome. Those bloviating senators are disgusting and newbee, eyeful, fits right in there with them.
The disembodied ones are kinda cool, I think.
