Cat Frozen To Fence Saved By Woman, Grandkids

FORT WORTH, Texas -- Here is proof that cats really have nine lives.

One cold morning while in the backyard of a Nebraska homeowner Ruth Bogenreif, a cat was taking a drink out of a heated bird bath. Something apparently startled the cat and she jumped, wet paws and all, onto a chain link fence.

In freezing temperatures, the cats small feet froze instantly to the metal.

"He was hanging with his paws froze to the fence. His head, the back of his neck, was in the water," said Bogenreif.

Using warm water, Bogenreif and her grandchildren freed the cat from the metal and then turned it over to the local shelter.

"She's not walking well on her right leg, we're assuming muscle paralysis at this point. Hopefully she'll be getting better as the swelling goes down," said Pam Wiese with the Humane Society.

My cat, Stuffy, is on my last nerve today. She has her own heated room, but she wanted to come in the house early today. So, I let her in and gave her one of my good choppped up weenies and some shredded cheese. She wanted milk or tuna. I was all out. I was going to have weenies for lunch myself. Which I did. She would not eat what I had. She bawled and squawled and ran when I tried to catch her to put her out to her room. I finally did. I couldn't take the pickiness or the bawling and squawling. Where have I gone wrong?!?

LOL, Hi Heels. And that margie sure looks good. Yes, from what you describe, it DOES look like "FReepers Peeper," and maybe the good Dr. Heels could whip up some of that healing tonic that you make mention of, and pour it down my throat for me. I can't do it myself...I'm too weak from the sickness. Thanks a bunch.

And I don't even want to KNOW what CG's mole rat is. I don't think you should tell me, in my weakened state and all. It might put me over....
