I tried to report some of the plannings on DU and elsewhere calling for violence but the SS no longer has a tip reporting online form. You have to call them. I forwarded the material to the FBI. I would bet that they monitor much of these online conversations but better safe than sorry.

This is just the FBI's subtle way of encouraging possible protesters to stay home rather than risk their lives by being caught up in some violent event. All in all, it should cut the crowd control problems by at least 50% which I think is the whole purpose behind the "warning".

There are a lot of nut cases out there. It may be a bunch of left wing liberals trying to get DC security chasing their tail.

Worries me that there is so much concentration on DC that other vulnerable areas could be left wide open for the Terrorists, including our own "home-grown" ones that still think it should be Al Gore parading down Pennsylvania Avenue for his second term!
