Fox News: FBI says suspicious activity along Inaugural route. People walking around taking notes on buildings along route. Not sure if it's terrorist activity or not.

"They're the FBI, why don't they go up an ask them what they are doing."

Maybe it's the CIA.

He told me nothing specific. He just said I could go to the balls but to stay away from the parade.

Thanks for the information.

I wonder how much money all the people would have spent anyway that week...Over 1/2 as much I bet just doing our thing!

I think your friend is wise about the possibility of protestors getting rowdy and people getting in their way.

I just can not live that way. I will go and stay with the Freepers. I have done that several times and the police are very attentive and "hover" over us. Often they have us move to safer places or move themselves in the way of possible trouble.

We must each be careful and make our own decisions.

Alison on FoxNews reported that law enforcement had observed people taking notes along the parade route

Then why didn't they question them on the spot?

I wish I could be there. I like getting rowdy.

Rowdy is fine and I am often a bit so, myself.

It is much safer to be with a group of like-minded people. I have seen the absolute hate in the eyes of some of the ANSWER crowd...I would not feel safe, alone, with my signs or "W" clothing etc.

You're welcome! But....I was a little ticked at the critics and didn't back up my statement. Following is the link for the major (really major) donors:

Major Donor Information

I'll watch on TV, then go do my thing and spend, spend, spend to counter the 'not one damn dime' people.

Have a wonderful time!

Can you believe that you actually had to say that in The United States of America?

The left are destroying this country. That's a statement that could be said by someone in the Middle East....not here.

Like people showing up for work at the Gay Edgar Hoover Building

The "Hoover wore dresses" was a leftist or possibly KGB disinformation slander upon a dead man. Please don't repeat leftist lies.

How about the police arrest a bunch of them, run their fingerprints, then make them wear women's underwear on their heads?

OOOOH!! I am so excited for the Inauguration!! Just seeing that photo, with the flags hanging from the Capitol Building like that!! : ) YAY!!! I am SO FREAKING HAPPY taht George W. Bush is goin got be our President AGAIN!! : )

Ok...I just had to let that out! I do hope these mysterious whatevers are made to vanish....they best not be thinking to mess up this fantastic celebration next week.

On another note...Gene Simmons (of KISS) was on Hannity and Colmes tonight and he said something very wise and very true which I wish everyone would pay mind to. He said, "These al Quaeda don't care if you're a Republican or a Democrat. They want to kill you because you're an American." Something I wish the stupid and loony left could get through their thick skulls!

Hey, you can never be too careful.

We have: 1) half the country trying to steal Ohio; 2) France arming Syria; 3) Germany arming Iran; 4) Russia arming China; 5) China arming North Korea; 6) North Korea arming everybody but America and Israel; plus Osama bin Laden is in Illinois (based on 80-proof intelligence from Massachusetts).

The FBI would not listen to Colleen Rowley about the suspicious Arabs in flight schools--let us hope that the FBI is now very, very alert to anything of interest.

Hi Kat, haven't seen you around in a while. I think there are more threats on the president than any of us could imagine. That is why security is so tight this inauguration! Just my humble opinion!

Is anything brewing in the DUmpster? Mebbe one of you who has acces can go check...

Last nite there was a thread at DU, the title was something like "Everything is set for 1-20-2005!" No message other than the title. Some responders told the poster that they shouldn't post something like that, that they'd have the FBI at their door.

I just looked & the thread is gone.

I forwarded the material to the FBI. I would bet that they monitor much of these online conversations but better safe than sorry.

I've also been watching what is being said about the inauguration over at DU. Surprisingly, it's very quiet about it tonite. Hmmmm.

Since the innauguration will cost the U.S. taxpayers $40 million, it would be better to have a simple ceremony that costs nothing and let it go at that.

Why? All other presidents have had their lavish inaugurations, why is everyone carping on Bush now?

How low-key would a Kerry (God forbid!) inauguration have been?

Exactly!!
