I received this e-mail from a childhood gal pal of mine, who is now a Southern Baptist preacher. She asked me to try to get as many folks as possible to pray for successful Iraqi elections.

I too am praying for the good news of liberty. God bless your friend. Is she volunteering in a religious capacity or does she have other duties?

Pass on to your friend that there are many many people here who do not believe everything the MSM puts out. Prayers offered for the safety of our men and women in Iraq, and for the Iraqi people and their fledgling democracy.

This is the second time today I've heard this type of report and they wonder why I've(we've) become nontraditional news watchers. How arrogant, egotistical and selfish to try to suppress so much accurate reporting for what, because they don't like W? A whole country is on the brink of democracy and the liberal left is acting like the country will evaporate if the elections are held. How shallow of an existence.

I heard a prophecy several years ago regarding the speeding up of God's activities.
It was something about .. what took years would now take months, what took months would now take days, what took days would now take hours, and what took hours would now take minutes.
I believe the speed up is already in progress.

Elections will go forward. Full speed ahead. Dam* the torpedoes. I know this is the right thing for Iraq and the Free World.
God bless President Bush and our Troops.

Thanks for posting this. I tangled with a Liberal yesterday at Bally's that brought up the elections in Iraq. He asked me if I thought that the elections would go forward. This guy is a Troll, and he keeps on pecking at me. He makes it hard for me to be one of those "Compassionate" Conservatives sometimes, haha! I try to give the guy some slack, I really do. But he catches my full force when he starts in. When he asks for the Nuke, I give it to him. He got the Nuke yesterday.
I need to work harder on that "Compassionate" part, I guess.

Never once feel guilty for standing up for our troops - espcially to a liberal.
