I'm stationed at Goodfellow right now preparing to start classes for intel. 1st Rule of Intel: Don't talk about it. Don't tell anyone that you work in Intel. It will lead to questions that you cannot answer and it will just piss them off or cause them to be even more curious and they will apply more pressure for you to answer. Tell them instead that you are a clerk/typist or something else really boring so they won't ask you about it.
Second Rule of Intel: Intel is no good unless it is passed on to the right people who need it. In doing so you have to communicate clearly. Spelling and grammar count.

How was Lackland? I really hated that place. Summer of 72 it was one hot mother.

No, to the program at Syracuse University. Most of the Russian language students in the USAF went there. Good program.

Normally, I'd tweak ya for even CALLING USAF BMT rough, try 14 weeks at Parris Island in AUGUST but what the heck, I'm in a good mood. Congrats. 14 weeks in August...? I'd be tempted to say "Yep, you're definitely a Marine," but I have too much genuine respect for the Corps to do that.

Be nice, HMFIC.
Zoomies don't know anything about grinders.
You wusses at PI never had to duck walk that grinder at MCRD with your seabag on your back.
Blue Scourge, congratulations!

You a Lackland Grad too, Conspiracy Guy?
I went through in 1972 as well. August throught early October. Did most everything outdoors under Red Weather Flags. I don't remember much. But what I do remember, I didn't much like.
Jack.

It was either the fall of 74 or 75. I don't remember. I'll have to look when I get home.
