Have you been recently called a geek, a dork, a NERD? Do you want to be a nerd, geek, or dork? Well, this test is for you! This highly advanced 'test' will determine once and for all how nerdy you are. Upon completion, you will be given a score (out of 100) as to just how nerdy you are, plus a niffty little graphic and link that you can share with your friends (if you have any) so they can see how they measure up!
Please note: Spelling errors are intentionel and are in play to sea if you pik up on them (i.e. the erors are their for a reason). So plaese, no more emails regurding speling. Thnx!

My nerd score was 6 (I'm only nerdier than 6 percent of people) and my loser score was 23 (23 percent of people are cooler than me). But, doesn't the fact that I took BOTH tests make me both a nerd and a loser?
To: day10
I guess I am a non-nerd (1) and a non-loser (1), but I am very weird! LMAO!! I don't know what I answered to get this score!
To: retrokitten
51% are more weird,
12% are just as weird, and
38% are more normal than you!

Ouch.

0% scored the same, and
95% scored lower.

Not bad for a 55-year old, conservative, semi-frumpy, baseball-loving wife and mother.

No, I said assembly, although COBOL might be an even better answer. I was thinking assembly isn't a "language" that requires interpretation, it's the direct instructions.

Well, I did, after all, take a course in parasitology, back in college. I'm not
totally nerdesque.
It was a required class. Cut me some slack.

0x59 or translated, 1011001.

I looked at it from the standpoint that being able to write machine language code is pretty nerdy. Not that this matters one whit. We're being nerds just arguing about it. :)

As I expected, this is more of an opinion question than anything else. If one views a language as a way to encode meaning, then they are all languages. Even machine code is a language used to encode either microdcode or processor operations.
I've used all the listed languages over the past 20 years, except for COBOL. I chose that one because only the business majors took it back in college.
For the past five years or so I've been working with Labview. It's a graphical language.
