What did you do, I was a grunt, except for the first two years I worked in a motor pool, but the last two years I trained my butt off as a grunt.
I already know his immigration policies and I don't like them and neither do a lot of people. And I'm pointing out the things I don't like.

"I was a soldier for 4 years, probably more then most of you here will ever know about the military and I joined when Desert Shield was under way and got to Panama the day Desert Storm started,"
Either you're lying, or blustering, or both.
In post 257 you said "When our troops were dying while those filthy terrorist rats were hiding in their 'holy' cemetery. Bush should have ordered the place leveled completely."
If you'd been in uniform you'd remember there are laws and restrictions on that sort of thing as I said in post 261.
Flattening a cemetary gets one a free ride to the pokey.

If you're the CIC, you can do a lot more then just a plain jane E1.

You're seriously stating that Geneva convention can be ignored?
Blowing up a cemetary is mentioned in there as being forbidden.

The crew on the Cole were from all over. We were in Virginia the day the Cole was hit. A lot of the crew and their families were members of First Baptist, Norfolk. I know a lot more about those people than you ever could.
To: Darksheare
Not lying, someone asked what I knew about war and politics, I replied, and it wasn't to you, so end of sentence to you.

When you point out things you don't like, be careful of who you associate them with. I'm not happy with his immigration policies, but I'm not going to equate his presidency with that of Clinton.
BTW, I was a Military Intelligence officer.

Why are we arguing with an uninformed jerk?
To: Stringfellow Hawke
*snort*
Oh, I see, you don't want to explain your stance at all.

He seems to think he isn't uninformed.
We'll see where this leads.

No, wouldn't equate the two, Clinton was a dog, we loathed him in the military.
But still, I'm weary of Bush. Either he has some incredible plan to solve the illegal problem, or he's selling us down the river. I completely disagree with giving people who broke the law to get here, a free ride. It's just gonna make more illegals want to cross over so they can get some handout as well.

I said the same thing to my husband this morning. GMTA!

When I said, "thanks for the info," I was being sincere. I honestly didn't know that the Cole was out of Norfolk. It was incredibly tragic. I wasn't suggesting otherwise.

Insults. Oh my, they can insult, but I can't!
Any how, read your own post, you say you knew many of the folk on the Cole, that doesn't mean everyone. Any how, you are obviously closer to the incident then I was. All I am going by is what was written down in articles back in 2000 when the election was going on, and the democRATs were trying to steal the election.
Conservatives were very mad that Florida democRATs were trying to prevent the military votes from counting and some of those WERE from folk on the U.S.S. Cole!
To: ConservativeMan55
Wait, but if even more are dead, doesn't that lead to the opportunity to take land without telling anyone?

How about explaining your stance on the Geneva COnvention barring bombing/strafing/blowing up cemetaries?
Your post 257 needs to be corrected otheriwse.
I explained to you in post 261 why cemetaries are off limits.
IF you had ever been in uniform, you would know that.
And most of FR have served, currently are serving, or are signing up.
You might want to recant some of your post 292.

Yes there probably someone that was a Florida resident.
You can't believe everything that you read in the papers.

Sorry, please accept my apology.
To: mariabush
No, you can't, and I've learned a lot more since the 2000 election. Before then, it was like I was in the Matrix, then someone posted a link to Drudge on CNN's forum and my eyes were opened wide.
I think the articles were on Drudge's site.
