Good point. And I wonder if it bothers Lance Armstrong that sKerry wears his Lifestrong bracelet like a badge of courage. Suppose it's more of a fashion statement for him that anything else.

He no longer has Secret Service protection. But why should he worry? No one over there will hurt him...he's on their side.

Look at how HAPPY he looks! Grrrrrr!

Lurch is just updating his resume with some more 'foreign leaders' who want to see him elected.

Looks like he's playing Almost-President.

If I understand politics in the U.K., the party out of power sets up a "shadow government" with M.P.s assigned to where they would be in the British cabinet, were that party in power.

It seems as if Kerry is trying to set himself up as a shadow President, doing what he would have done, if he had been elected.

In some ways, that seems good strategy on Kerry's part: He keeps himself in the public eye and could even make himself nominee presumptive in 2008.

However, one of the main advantages the party out of the Presidency has is that they can personify the President's party as the President and use that as a focus of attack. If Kerry acts as a shadow President, he could give the GOP a similar target, diluting the Democratic party's advantage.

NUMBER 1 - REMOVE THIS IDIOT FROM THE ARMED SERVICES COMMITTEE .. AND ANY OTHER COMMITTEE WHICH ALLOWS HIM TO HAVE ACCESS TO ANYTHING EVEN REMOTELY RESEMBLING FOREIGN POLICY OR MILITARY INFORMATION.

NUMBER 2 - RESCEND HIS PASSPORT AND MAKE SURE HE NEVER HAS ANOTHER ONE - AS LONG AS HE'S ON MY TAXPAYER TAB.

NUMBER 3 - CENSURE HIM FOR UNDERMINING THE ADMINISTRATION's POLICIES WITH OUR ENEMIES.

THAT'S JUST FOR STARTERS!

Good analysis.

For now, I simply think it's an ego thing. He thinks he mastered these foreign policy issues, and he was aware of the enormous interest in his campaign around the world. Maybe he even thinks he can have an impact. It must be odd for Abbas to talk to Kerry. Who knows what an indirect effect this can have?

Or, then again, maybe he just wants to get away from Teresa.

Isn't it supposed to be incredibly impolite in the Middle East to lift one's shoes up in the air?

Kerry bashes US policy in meeting w/ leader of foreign group opposed to US
(not ‘71 or ‘85 – Jan 12 05!)

"Former U.S. presidential candidate Senator John Kerry (D-MA), an election observer,
leaves the office of Mahmoud Abbas, in the West Bank city of Ramallah in this
January 10, 2005 file photo. Middle East countries are frustrated by U.S. policy in
Iraq and feel too little is being done to end violence there, U.S. Senator John Kerry
said on January 12, 2005 on a visit to the region. Kerry repeatedly criticized the
Bush administration's Iraq policy during his failed bid to win the U.S. presidency
from George W. Bush, who led the invasion to topple Saddam Hussein."

Hanoi Kerry is NOT a legitimate US Senator.

Never has been!

The traitor is doing the same thing he has always done.

By the way anyone notice his chin does not seem as long. Surgery.

Does he think "the chin" is what cost him the election?! He is so shallow and BTW, what is he doing galavanting all over the Middle East when he should be here doing his highly over-paid job as senator--oh, yeah! that's because he has NEVER done his job as a senator!

He is going to North Korea to get a personally autographed picture of Kim Il Jung for his office and then he will again criticize Bush.
