Seattle Media Misrepresents Size of Revote Crowd at Olympia Rally
1/11/05 | justthefactsmaam

KIRO is misrepresenting the size of the pro-REVOTE crowd at the rally today down in Olympia. On their website they said 1000 revote supporters, and 500 Gregoire supporters. Baloney! I was there, and I have proof on film (my buddy panned the crowd for this very purpose - the liberal media does this all the time!). I left a message on KIRO's tips line that I had proof on film that they were not telling the real story, and offered it to them. Let's see if I get a reply! (I won't hold my breath)

When a thousand or more conservatives protest it's always "some demonstrators", or "a few hundred".

When liberals demonstrate, if it's a few hundred liberal protesters they call it "thousands".

The media can simply say that the liberal
Gregoire people did not turn out because they understand everything is now settled with her inaugural Wednesday. Therefore, why should they bother with demonstrating?

when you say:
communists, socialists, anarchists, greens, hippies, dopers, losers, homeless, homosexuals, gun-banners, vegans, anti-smokers, "pro-choicers," democrats, etc.

Don't you mean:

communists, dopers, losers, etc.?

The rest is redundancy...

That is why I now call it the MSF or Main Stream Fiction. They don't even deserve the title Media. Suppose it could be MSP for Main Stream Propaganda.

I try to not watch it. Or watch it to make fun of it.

To certify an election that no one can possibly know who won is misfeasance and legal grounds for the recall of all State Senators and Legislators who supported the fraudulent certification of Christine as Governor.

Sounds good to me, another Recall in another State would send an excellent message to all politicians all over this country!

They've done this for decades, shooting pro-abortion clusters of a dozen angry ugly women and acting as if it were a massive crowd, while ignoring the throngs of pro-lifers.

In the past, we've just taken it. It's time to start giving them a non-stop thrashing everytime they do it. Those in the area should CALL AND CALL AND FAX AND FAX AND WRITE AND WRITE until they change their ways. For years, we've been nothing more than gnats to the MSM. We've now elevated ourselves to mosquitoes. We actually drew blood and a big OUCH from CBS. Do not relent.

Make no mistake: The media are our #1 practical enemy.

Yeah 200, maybe if we're including the dem politicians hiding inside who were to chickensh*t to show their faces.

Realistically we had about 2000, give or take 200.

The opposition had 30 - 60.

I think KIRO radio was where I heard the first report about the rally, and they estimated the crowd was about 2500, with Gregoire supporters being outnumbered 3:1. I keep hearing that there were only about 150-200 union thugs there, so I think that may be generous to the thieves.

The Democrats only control the State Senate and House by a few votes. Dino Rossi carried several districts where democrats were elected. A recall of just a handful along with a revote for Rossi could give us control of our State government. Joyce Macdonald a Republican received more votes than either Jim Kastama or Dawn Morrel the Democrats holding the other two of the three district seats. Rossi won the district and so the two Democrats could be vulnerable. Kastama just won four years and might think he can ride out the storm but a recall could change that.

"...does the name Mary Mapes mean anything to you?"

It certainly does, and we dang well know where she came from;
now if we could just pry her sorry butt out of Texas, we'd feel we'd made a good start on disinfecting the state!

Oftentimes they report the "count" from earlier in the day, or later in the day. That way, they don't get the "peak" numbers during the actual event.

I wish we could have hooked up at the Clark County rally!

I know a few FReepers showed up, I did not get to meet any of them.
