"Un-augural Reception To Honor Veterans Who Helped Defeat John Kerrys Election Bid
At the National Press Club on Jan. 20
(Washington, DC, January 20) Leaders of prominent 527 military service veterans groups, film producers and authors who made substantial contributions to the veterans revolt against Senator John Kerrys 2004 Presidential bid will be honored by their supporters at a tongue-in-cheek Un-augural reception at the National Press Club on January 20, 2004. The event will celebrate the absence of Senator Kerry from the Inauguration Day proceedings, most particularly the swearing-in ceremony.
Among those receiving special awards will be:
Swift Vets & POWs for Truth
Vietnam Vets for the Truth
Authors of the best-selling book Unfit to Command
Creators of the documentary film Stolen Honor
U.S. Army Infantry veteran Lou Priebe, who is helping coordinate the receptions arrangements, said, These courageous advocacy groups and individuals richly deserve the recognition which they will receive from their many friends who are profoundly grateful for their invaluable service during the 2004 Presidential election. These staunch men and women made extremely important contributions in helping tell the truth about Kerrys actual record during and after the Vietnam War and about his lack of fitness to serve as Americas Commander-in-Chief. Were celebrating the fact that Kerry is not being inaugurated on January 20 and honoring the exemplary people who helped make his absence from the historic days ceremonies a reality!
The reception will begin at 11:00 am in the First Amendment Room of the National Press Club, overlooking the Inaugural Parade route at the intersection of 14th & F Streets, NW.
This event is not a part of the official 2005 Presidential Inauguration.

Thanks for the ping, Mr. Silverback; and CONGRATULATIONS for a job well done by the various Vietnam vets groups this past election. I hope that the Vietnam vets in attendance have a great time celebrating America's victory over the liberal/left/Democrat lie-machine; they deserve it.
I am also glad that Jim Robinson is going to be honored, for his good work here at FR in support of the Vietnam Vets for the Truth and the Swiftboat Vets for the Truth last year.
But I'll have to pass on this event. I have an outdoors date with the communist cheerleaders on Pennsylvania Avenue at that same time. (DC Chapter members and Freepers and others from across the USA will be on duty in the American Sector.)

What a great idea; the perfect tribute for an empty suit! Blessings on all our Vietnam vets who exposed the real John Kerry. Thank you all for coming forward with the truth and thank you for your sacrifice for your country. He who trashed all of you got exactly what he deserved--nothing.

I imagine you saw IT's reply to you, and also he was honored as the FReeper Of The Year in the
Eagle Awards voted on by Freepers and presented by the Free Republic Network.
I would imagine he will be acknowledged for his work with the Swifties too.
