I doubt that they get together, but can't rule out a bit of plagiarism. Sometimes they're just hitting the most topical themes. I see the repetion when I'm collecting for my next post. I decided not to filter out toons that are almost identical to others...not wanting to judge which one's the "best".

Didn't take it as a complaint...I've gotten those & they're unmistakable ;-) You just hit on something that I'd noticed for a long time. Your comment jogged my memory & gave me a chance to post my thoughts (as well as my logic re repetetive toons...as I've said before, I post anything that's topical, fairly understandable &, of course, not anti "us".)
