ZOT! "Not One Damn Dime Day" - Jan 20, 2005 - Inauguration Day

Help Make a Difference... Please mark your calendars now . . .
"Not One Damn Dime Day" - Jan 20, 2005 - Inauguration Day
Since our religious leaders will not speak out against the war in Iraq, since our political leaders don't have the moral courage to oppose it, Inauguration Day, Thursday, January 20th, 2005 is "Not One Damn Dime Day" in America.
On "Not One Damn Dime Day" those who oppose what is happening in our name in Iraq can speak up with a 24-hour national boycott of all forms of consumer spending. During "Not One Damn Dime Day" please don't spend money. Not one damn dime for gasoline. Not one damn dime for necessities or for impulse purchases. Not one damn dime for anything for 24 hours.
On "Not One Damn Dime Day," please boycott Wal-Mart, Kmart, Target . . .
Please don't go to the mall or the local convenience store. Please don't buy any fast food (or any groceries at all for that matter).
For 24 hours, please do what you can to shut the retail economy down. The object is simple. Remind the people in power that the war in Iraq is immoral and illegal; that they are responsible for starting it and that it is their responsibility to stop it.
"Not One Damn Dime Day" is to remind them, too, that they work for the people of the United States of America, not for the international corporations and K Street lobbyists who represent the corporations and funnel cash into American politics.
"Not One Damn Dime Day" is about supporting the troops. The politicians put the troops in harm's way.
Now that over 1,300 brave young Americans and (some estimate) 100,000 Iraqis have died, the politicians owe our troops a plan - a way to come home.
There's no rally to attend. No marching to do. No left or right wing agenda to rant about. On "Not One Damn Dime Day" you take action by doing nothing.
You open your mouth by keeping your wallet closed.
For 24 hours, nothing gets spent, not one damn dime, to remind our religious leaders and our politicians of their moral responsibility to end the war in Iraq and give America back to the people.
Please share this e-mail with as many people as possible.

This poor, misplaced turd should become a "religious leader" and wage his own private campaign.
This guy's so far out there, I don't think the Islamofascists would even accept his help; but he still feels compelled to try and help them. What an unpatriotic low life. If the trash of the world ever bring the fight back to us, I hope they bring it to his home town. He'd probably try to blame Bush for not protecting his sorry a$$.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I vaguely remember hearing about FR in the news a couple times, but it never registered. I ran into it several weeks ago surfing for conservative sites. I read a few threads and signed up immediately. I was never into the "chat" thing, but here it's different. Good people here. Now I'm hooked.

Mike, I personally know Howard Coble, and he may want to stop the war, but he's not for "not a dime day" Hell, I want to win the war, but I plan on spending a lot on the Inauguration Day, ya know why? Because I'm going to the Inauguration! I may not agree with his views on Immigration and the War, but darn it he is my President, and I spent a lot of hours making phone calls for him, caught a lot of colds putting up his signs in the rain, and lost a lot of sleep traveling a lot of miles for the campaign here in Eastern NC. Don't anybody get me wrong, I support President Bush.

Even more of a bonus for spending money, than just sticking it to dems. BTW, how do they think their little protest would do any good, when what, 54million voted for Bush. 62 million, IIRC, and not a Vitally-Challenged American among them.

You're welcome! ;-) It's definitely different here! People DO make you feel welcome....and practically no leftists last for long!
You're amongst good company here.

Jeez, I left 8 million people off the count for Bush, what was I thinking?
Thanks for correcting me, and showing that there are even more people spending money that day!!
I, however, will not be able to attend the inauguration in person, but on TV--Fox channel, thank you very much!!!

Tellya what -- don't stop at 24 hours, keep it going until the war is ended. With sinking sales, that means prices will go down, and in a place like San Francisco with looney left libs and sky-high rent, I can begin thinking about an upgrade on my apartment.

I am extremely happy that the America hating, God hating, morals hating left is not tolerate here. It's part of the appeal (probably for them too).
I've been a lurker of many forums, but a participant of few. This is the only forum I've ever seen that actually makes an enjoyable ceremony out of banning low lifes. I love it! I actually look forward to trolls.
